Somehow you just popped up on my feed. Shame to discover your channel after such an incident, but nonetheless you have another subscriber now. Take this as a sign of new beginnings. Bigger and better things to come! I hope you can walk us through the experience and it will help those of us who have yet to setup their shops. Best of luck to you and keep your head up, we are rooting for you!
Bugger, sorry to hear about your problems brother,I am a subscriber and not going anywhere, will keep notifications on so I can see the progress from old to new shop. Just remember this could be a blessing in disguise when all is said and done.
Thank you, your awesome. being a geek like myself you should check out our cinema room upgrade. Have some fantastic things that I have collected from Comicon and prop stores.
Subbed just to show you some support, I found you from Tommy's channel @EireWorkshop who's another woodworker from the Emerald Isle that I really like so I'm gonne spend my time waiting for your return by catching up on your existing content. Good luck and I hope the insurance people don't make things worse than they already are for you.
thank you so so much. love watching Tommy. believe it or not we just got news that the insurance has accepted the claim and is starting in 2 weeks. So garage and driveway is being removed ( I will show the progress) then all new bits. I am going to do a whole new workshop with a dark academia design. thanks again and if you could tell your friends and family it would mean a lot
NOT GOING ANY WHERE BUDDY. I WILL ALLWAYS BE WATCHING. I DONT THINK THE OIL WILL HURT THE SHOP BENCH LEGS AT ALL, IT JUST ADDS CHARACTER TO THE WOOD.MAYBE REPLACE THE BOTTOM RUNNERS THAT ARE TOUCHING THE GROUND BUT, THE REST OF THE LEG WILL BE FINE. IF YOU DONT LIKE THE LOOK, JUST VENEER THE BOTTOM OF THE LEG 12 INCHES UP WITH A ACCENT WOOD, THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT.I HOPE THAT HELPS MY FRIEND.
Ah Doug. Thank you for your support and input. I will put this into action once the insurance signs off on what is going to happen. Stay safe and looking forward to seeing amazing videos this Christmas from you
Hey David glad you got the message buddy. I hope things get straightened out there for you real soon and get back to normal. And thank you my friend thank you very much I've got a few little things I'm working on and hope to get them finished up real soon give me yell if I can be of any help with anything my friend
Oh man that is horrible 😢 hopefully you can get everything cleaned up and save a lot of your stuff mate, and right around the holidays i know makes it feel like a lot too, I wish you the best mate
Hi Justin. Hope you are well. Yea trying to save as much as we can . Thank you so much for your long time support. If your ever doing a video, give us a shout out. I plan on showing the progress of the tear out and rebuild. Hopefully. Please take care
Ouch not good, hopefully you can take this as an opportunity to rebuild better and document the process for your viewers, you aren't the first to lose a shop to one form of disaster or another and unfortunately won't be the last - see wittworks for the most recent example that comes to mind.
Hi Leigh. Since the incident I have watched a few. I will try to video the work as it progresses but I will be at work while they are here. Thank you so much for your comment. Stay safe
So what a massive job not seen this vid till now and my comment was just pure speculation but looks like I was right as for vids they would take a back seat if I had that problem as for the benches I would carry on using them as long as there was no chance of contamination. You have a long road in front my friend but like I said your subscribers will still be there ready to be apart of your new journey good luck my friend and if you can when you can just keep us posted
NOOOO i just found you guys and this is how things are :((( I hope you bounce back. I've subscribed, and i've only just come across your channel too so i have some older videos to watch. I'm into making stuff as well but I mostly use CAD and a 3D printer. So I'm interested in learning more about woodwork and some of the more traditional methods of making stuff the old fashioned way. Wishing you the best from England
thank you so much for subscribing, I will return the support and subscribe to your channel. A whole new workshop is on its way. We have been told the Garage floor is coming up next week

Concrete destroyed by oil, probably not. 😂
Residual VOCs in that closed space not good for the lungs.
@@bjbest you do know they can sand polish and seal, cheaper than they can replace?
Yea, believe it or not oil is concretes Kryptonite. Who knew
Hi Colby. They drilled into the slab and the oil has made it under the slab, so it has to come all up. Thank you so much for commenting
