Good job TC! Your videos inspired me to pursue a career in cybersecurity aswell. I passed the Google IT fundamentals and now I'm studying for the Network+. After getting the certification, I'll take the CCNA, Sec+, Azure fundamentals and CCD while enrolling in vocational school for systems and networks. As a 25 year old with no IT background and a degree completely unrelated to computers, it's a bit overwhelming at the beginning, but everything is possible if one is persistent enough. Im starting my first day in a cyber security cirt iv in about a week, im alright with computers but just kinda stressing over some networking stuff that I dont fully understand. Hopfeully it goes well :))
What is the pay like for cybersecurity? How does one start down that path? And do you know of any bootcamps etc that work with getting you a job after you graduate?
Pay varies on many different factors, everyone’s pay is different and so is the starting salaries. But it can be very lucrative. You can start by studying and learning the bare minimum basics of computers like hardware, then networking to understand how computers communicate over networks, then security. Tryhackme.com is a great place to start with Networking, google is always going to be your best friend. Not sure about boot camps so can’t really speak on it.

Study as much as possible but don’t overwork yourself, give yourself grace! They won’t expect you to know everything
