Get this, you buy your first thing of seeds, 3 slots... and 1 slot after that... so theoretically you would eventually run out of slots after so many seed pallets.

I understand the console has limitations but it's weird how games like gta, rdr, minecraft, and so many other open world games, can run just fine on console. Take gta for example. It's a massive map with soooo much going on at one time, way more detail going on than in farm sim. Way more vehicles. Way more in general, runs perfectly fine. Minecraft, basically unlimited size worlds, with again a lot more going at one time than in farm sim. So to me, I just dont understand how games that have way more going on, way bigger maps and everything, can run just fine, but farming simulator is extremely limited. And then on farm sim, how once you buy one thing, the rest you buy of that thing will only cost 1-3 slots. Then you got things like bales. You can literally make bales, and it not cost a single slot, but you buy them it does. How? Why? I'm not an expert with these things, so it makes no sense to me. I honestly believe this slot limit just needs to go. The consoles, I know for a fact, can handle more than what we are given. I'm pretty sure once the game starts getting buggy and weird things start to happen, we know we hit our limit for that map, just like on pc. I've had so many maps on console maxed out on slots, not a single issue. Back to what I said earlier, if you can get something that is 40 slots, then the next one is only 3, no. Get rid of the damn slots. I have the original xbox. Bought it the day it came out. Everything still runs perfectly okay. There is no need for the slot limit, and if there really is, I honestly believe more slots can be added, prolly twice as much as we got now, or the equipment can be way less slots. And some things just not be affected by slots at all.
I think it totally sucks! I have been playing consoles before computers and gaming was available for the public to even afford a computer. So that would mean that we're being punished for being console owners.
Unfortunately that won't be possible , we will have to wait for FS21 on the next gen consoles with better hardware the devs will be less tight to hardware limitations
Giants needs to update the game. I get they did this because of console system resources. And I would agree that the game was sluggish on my original PS4. However, now that I have a PS5, the game runs as smooth as possible. Almost night and day. A game patch would give a step system on how many slots allowed based on console (i.e. original PS4, PS4 Pro, PS5, etc.).
Only problem with PC, they have limit on how many factories you can have, it tells you, you have to many of same items you need to sell some and even though I have limit break mod and still having same difficulty

I guess you mean pre order , well on console you get some extra vehicles a small new holland tractor and mahindra retriever. That said the game is much better nowadays ,bugs have been fixed and a lot of mods got released as well on console .
I think it sucks, I'm was trying to build a mega farm, well that's not happenin now, man it was looking sweet, now it's like all that work for nothin, now I gotta change my whole strategy of how I wanna farm. If they are guna have it they should make everything 1 slot and or they shouldn't penalize us for slots the maps already use that's just dumb
I don't get how on fs22 you have twice as more slots compared to fs19 on the exactly same console now tell me how they managed to do this on old gen consoles ps4 and Xbox consoles then yall are talking about consoles limitations and the game would crash if it has so many stuff running on a map but then I could get myself fs22 and have more then 1300 slots used up and my game would run as smoothly as on fs19 if I only have 500 slots used up This slot limitations on fs19 is the only reason why I want to upgrade to fs22 and I wish I knew about this before I made the purchase because I only been playing f19 right after fs22 came out

Travis Tharp take slots off of bales and take slots off of building a farm just keep slots for vehicles only but give us more room

Try Dahl farm on that map you start with a lot of free slots and the map looks decent .

The reason why pallets take up slots now is because they graphics are improved and everything you put down takes up memory.

You can fill a auger wagon with seed / fertilizer , to refill a planter
In fs 15 there is a limit on tractors but I had 87 quadtracts 300 cows 200 chickens and loads of other tractors but on fs 19 you Can’t do that
