Want to learn more about how Value Added Tax (VAT) works (input tax, output tax, chain of supply, VAT categories), then watch this related video called "VAT explained": th-cam.com/video/a6RB4rIxWqI/w-d-xo.html

As far as I can tell, the audio is there in the entire video. It could be that you started watching it, while the video was still uploading/processing. Can you refresh the screen, and try again?

    Hello, Philip!
I love your finance videos, but I think you should also make more career-related and personal videos.
career related video would be something like What it takes to be a CFO, pros and cons of being one, etc.
And a more personal would be more like "What it's like to work in finance in the Netherlands" pros and cons, etc.
    Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestions, David! I like the idea of making career-related and personal videos, but will have to think which topics would be interesting and suitable.
As to "What it's like to work in finance in the Netherlands".... even though I live and work in NL, I have mostly been working for US-based multinationals. 😂

@@TheFinanceStoryteller I would be very interested in learning about that career! Living in the NL and working for US companies!

Will it possible to make one video about valuation, to tell whether acquisition price paid worths or not… ?

Hello Kristy! I am very sceptical of most acquisitions, as 70% fail to generate shareholder value for the acquiring company. While you can conclusively say that an acquisition was a failure (through bankruptcy or major goodwill impairments) th-cam.com/video/BAFmgPXvlJ8/w-d-xo.html , it is very hard to judge whether an acquisition price was worth it. Various factors can cause a deal that looked good on paper to fail: integration issues, cultural incompatibility, business or accounting problems that have been hidden, key staff leaving... I discuss discounted cash flow valuation of companies to a certain extent in my video on WACC, maybe that helps a bit with what you are looking for: th-cam.com/video/1O-DbtVueMw/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestion! Will add it to the list of potential topics for videos. I cover a bit of DCF in my video on WACC: th-cam.com/video/1O-DbtVueMw/w-d-xo.html
