Have you ever played Messenger? 8-bit platformer with great 8-bit music with funny dialogue and a great story. It’s not a super long game (I think my first run through took 16 hours? But my friend took that long to do like less than half of the game, so it depends) but I’ve enjoyed it multiple times through. Highly recommend
