Boys & Girls played Camden 3 years in a row during the 81-82, 82-83 and 83-84 seasons. Milt Wagner already was at Louisville in 82 when they played for the first time. Pearl(RIP) had 39 and his sidekick Elmer had 25 in that game while Billy Thompson had 26 for Camden. That game was filled with intrigue because Thompson was the #1 player in America while Pearl was emerging as the top Junior in the country. That game put Pearl on the national spotlight and Boys won 79-76. The following year in 83, Camden won with Kevin Walls taking over the whelms. In 84, Ed Davender(RIP) transferred from AHAM and went up against Kevin Walls and this time Walls put up 50 as Camden won the best 2 out of 3.
