Badass way to play the game. Step _ -Build ccp1, Hematic grenades -When bt scene trigger build a locker -stock you precious cargo -let the bt catch you and the bossfigjt happen -beat it -profit
Not quite true... This area close to the river is close to the meteorologist. It is between 2 bt areas... But usually areas like that, that you can build a road do not have bt's.
What I did when I encountered BT's is to immediately dump all my cargo on the ground, run ahead to get caught by them and let them drag me off to the boss fight. Beating the boss gets you a ton of crystals which you need to repair roads etc. without metals.
Also, for every 1000 crystals you have on you, they decrease your total load weight by 1kg, so farming high number is always an excellent idea. If you have 50k crystals you can carry an extra 50kg worth of stuff.
@@kaiwenchia3613 You can ride even if your overweight I believe. It's even better since you can move cargo better but using speed up on bike won't be as fast I think since your heavy.
Haha, I did the opposite; I went full-on logistics networks. Every road built, ziplines webs to every location. Walking was the enemy. Carry as much cargo as possible per trip and always have enough heat on the tool belt or grenade pouches to win any fight, don't let BTs reroute you on the RARE chance they can reach you. It made parts of the game feel like Truck Simulator or Factorio but it was fun. 🤓 Great to play while listening to podcasts or 2nd monitoring a familiar show.
I loved my truck 🥰 I'd just turn on a podcast or an audiobook on my phone and drive (which is how I found out I can focus either on driving or on the book - but not both. So it's probably a good thing I never tried to get a driving license).
Just hoped the bike controls were a bit less fussy, sometimes it just slides while I'm breaking, and no, it's not the sideways slide function. I still love the bike and with the DC version, the one with the carrier is amazing for heavy hauls.
If you get off your bike outside the BT area, and then walk back in to "carve" a path through the area killing BTs by using Hematic shit(basically walk straight and kill anything you come across that makes your odradek yellow), area stays "carved" until the next story-related cutscene. So next time you have to go through the same area, you can safely speed through the path you carved, with absolutely no risk of getting caught. It doesnt work if you kill all the BTs in the area though, then they respawn next time you go there. Worth to mention that sometimes the BTs move around slightly, so the path you carved might be occupied with a single stray BT next time you come across the same area, Happened only twice the entire 400 hours i played, so dont drop your guard completely. Keep on keeping on!
I love it. I play like that alot lol, anything that's fun. I just got the grenade launcher and having a blast with it. A little late but who cares. Funny video. Have fun Sam Porter Bridges, maybe I'll see you in the seam, or something like that.

Pretty badass that you just chill and slowly ride the bike through BT area. LOL
do people not normally do that? they cant detect the bike moving as much if you dont speed

You can have a bridge over the area..
Or simply memorize their position, pretty hard to maneuver but you'll get used to it over time

@MumsPoopSockmins seconds only 4 shots from RPG Max
Hiding them is time go kill them and let's go

poor baby, needed some whistling before going into bt infested area
You could press L3 to speed up the bike, or shift for keyboard
yep
Yea but you would run out of battery fast.

This reminded me of this dude that was being held by 3 officers while he’s trying to get on his ATV lmao
If you’re not playing at consistent max weight w max vehicle load, also with no fear of bt’s and/or mules; you’re not playing right.
i played like this for the first 4 chapters then i went full maniac and minimalist and flinging packages around carelessly to get through the story 😫

This game just doesn’t reward you enough for painstaking routes being set up
🫤
That's exactly it. The whole game was put together so haphazardly and they just kept adding stuff until it was unplayable, and then they released it.

Well, at least you don't go fliping in the air when you hit something at full speed, or you don't end up upside down after falling from a rocky cliff.
if you boost with l3 no wonder you get stuck on the rocks. Same thing would happen in real life if you were on similar terrain and went full speed
Oh gawd yes
