Brother thank you for the reply. God may have chosen Arabic for the language of Quran, but this does not mean we have to parroting the words therein without understanding a single thing as most people do. Learning Arabic is beyond most people on this Earth, surely God would not have chosen only a selected few to understand the guidance He is providing us with? Surely reading a translation runs much less of a risk of personal and sectarian bias than referring to the so called clergy and scholars?
He brings up a good point about reading the Quran in a language you understand but seriously though, what is this obsession with Arabic? There are many many excellent translations available in all languages of the world if we were to open our eyes and stop treating the Quran like a talisman that must be kept wrapped up on a shelf up high.
wa means and iyyaaki means you too for female but iyyaak means you too for males . The arabs use iyyaak to make a warning firmly as well specially when there will be bad consequences iyyak an tala'b= donot play If you have any other words you cannot understand tell me and I will help you inshaa allah.
lets say if you have a boss at your work. He tells you new rules of how to run your job but you still think the old rules are A OK. So ur really nice, bring ur collegues coffee and other stuff, be a good person but slack when ur boss tells u to work. Do you think he will get a promotion??? Well who do u think Allah is?
