Wait Sajam said that everyone from the previous Sajam Slam who asked to join again automatically got in, and we have to assume they didn't want to join again. Sajam LIED through his teeth
Vivi only said she "can't join this time," not that she was denied. It's possible that she couldn't participate due to a scheduling conflict, staff not approving the list of other competitors, or any number of other reasons. Vivi seemed optimistic about being able to join future events so I assume she didn't just get ignored. Regardless of why, it is unfortunate that she won't be in Sajam Slam 2, but I'm hoping she can participate in the next one.
