There’s no shame in having faith. No shame in talking about Jesus because we all need hope and love. We’re all broken and need a Savior. And it’s a beautiful thing and freeing when we surrender our will and make Him Lord.

for the ‘revenge’ aspect that I have seen God in is with a guy that has been making fun of me consistently. it was to the point where I would cry every time (maybe I’m just dramatic) but one day I was upset about something and went to sit on the porch at camp and he came out and apologized and said, “i couldn’t just let you sit out here and cry” the Lord poked his heart and he listened. I prayed for a year for his apology and for God to keep working in his life and that he would see His presence. I think the Lord gently corrected a fellow believer. Plus, when I went back inside I heard a voice in my head say, “that’s your husband.” not sure if it was of the Lord or my own thoughts or the enemy, whatever’s the case I know the Lord will always fight my battles, He will ALWAYS be by my side, even after I’ve breathed my last and I am with Him forever!
I SO MUCH ENJOY these Biblical reading/devotional videos. The longer the better in my book! Your voice combined with the Word is very peaceful and relaxing. You are not “preachy” or forceful at all, just the opposite. You really SHINE in this capacity Sam! I really hope you do more of them. The tabs are really helpful, even if one knows the books and book order, they are still helpful to jump right to the book desired without turning pages forever. Your Bible is so pretty and you did a nice job with the tabs! Great colors! God bless you. I admire your journey and seeing how far you’ve come especially in your faith (not in any weird way tho) is inspiring. I hope that people know how much God and His Son Jesus loves them, and wants a personal relationship with each of us. 🙏👏🥰🙌👍

I've been using David Guzik's podcasts for my morning quiet times lately (I read along). I would totally recommend checking him out when you're done with Romans! His series' on 1st and 2nd Samuel were so dang good! Every day he explains something that I definitely wouldn't have picked up on if I just read it by myself

Thank You Sam for this video. It has been interesting watching you grow through the years as I was following you. One thing is God didn't forget you and it shows. I've always seen your faith in many ways. The respect you show your parents, yourself, your aunt and other family members is one of the many ways you've shown your faith. You probably dont remember because of all your followers but I've always made comments about your faith. It is good to hear about the light in what's becoming a very dark world. Jesus is the light of the world but you can also be a beacon of light too. I love your videos, and you are still my favorite ASMR artist. I was always going to ask you, would you ever involve your parents in one of your videos? We really needed this Sam. My wife has lost a cousin and two brothers in the last five weeks. Two of them died tragically. If it wasn't for our faith I dont how we would have made it through it all. Yours in Christ, God Bless You. P.S. I'm an Elder in my church. Our church members are all older so its refreshing to see a woman of your age being involved. I was almost giving up hope in our youth but then I see things like this video!

I'll be honest, even as a non-believer/non-religious person, this had interestingly positive vibes and was even relaxing. Definitely a different experience than actually going to church. Never met any priest that didn't freak me out and/or gave me anxiety and panic attacks about "confessing my sins" in a small dark corner alone with him as a child with severe social anxiety and who was afraid of adults and couldn't make eye contact with people or talk in public. Went a few times with my school for my First Communion (I didn't even know what I was doing to be honest and never went back after that because it just felt scary and wrong/dishonest since I didn't know what I was doing and didn't believe a thing they were telling me 😅 (To be fair, I think I landed on a particularly negative church lady organizer who was only ever talking about how we're all sinners and was just really scaring us and never said anything positive, really. Or maybe it was just me and how I received it because I was such an anxious, depressed and scared child. I didn't like being told I could be going to hell much. Also, it was a sketchy situation as religion had pretty much been dead for over 30 years at this point where I'm from (religion is practically dead nowadays and babies don't even get baptised anymore), but was kind of trying to survive through very few volunteers and one or two priests who would cover a large territory and many churches. We were one of the last cohort to do these things before the church officially closed and became residence for the elderly. I just think something weird was in the air and I could feel it and was uncomfortable.) So I never had any experience per se like some have, but it still sort of triggers me everytime I hear about religion. Being a shy and anxious kid who was also a perfectionnist and an A+ student who was always afraid of making mistakes or doing something bad, I took things very seriously and the whole seriousness and strictness that comes with religion came off as (still does) very scary and stress inducing for me. Like "you shall not speak child, do as you are told, confess to your sins and keep your head down or else you shall go to hell...". It truly freaked me out. I was always afraid an adult was watching over my shoulder or would accuse me of sinning and doing something wrong that I didn't even know I wasn't allowed to do. The weekend trip we did on a remote farm away from our parents to prepare ourselves for our First Communion, spending the weekend writing to the area's Monseigneur about our sins and how we wished to be forgiven got me traumatized, I must say, and I wrote a bunch of bullshit and couldn't wait to get the hell out of there and never come back. I couldn't sleep at night, surrounded by a bunch of strangers, away from my parents. 🥲😅 I can't even imagine how it was for kids who were put in these boarding schools in the olden days with extremely severe priests and nuns and wit the physical abuse. I experienced 0.0000000001 tenth of that and I got traumatized, jeez. But I really really do appreciate people turning these things into positive stuff and focussing on the "beautiful/thoughtful" parts of religion instead of using it as a tool to scare people to death about everyone going to hell 😅Religion is definitely a touchy subject and churches and boarding schoold are definitely past traumas for many people (the older generation) and we tend to never talk about religion, but when it is talked about or when I do stumble upon something about it, I like when it has a positive aspect and this video definitely had an aspect of being so other, so different, than what religion and religion talk usually is for me that it was not stress inducing at all. Not even remotely, which is a rare occurence for me. Hope my comment wasn't too negative and didn't come off as criticizing everything about religion. I was just trying to put into words why so many people struggle with it and how I experienced it which made me not like it and how this video was the complete opposite of that.
