For those saying Becca cheated the hammer hold by holding it too high, you are looking at the wrong arm due to the side it was filmed from. Its the opposite arm that's holding lower down that needs to be 'roughly level', it can be slightly higher or lower, the ref guides you as you go, gives you warnings if needed. If it wasn't correct to the rules they wouldn't have allowed it, they don't just hand out $5000 for fun.
They need to create a level apparatus to place on the arms during Thor's hammer. Something that will sense if the arms are too high and when the arms fall to precisely end the time. Too much judgement involved for something that needs to be measured to the hundredths of a second. They paid a guy who spent six weeks to make the Austrian Oak, a fairly simple design. I'm pretty sure they have the funds and means to make anything.
The commentator keeps saying that he's sure the Hafthor would like to see his record broken. Hafthor isn't even there. If he wanted to see it, he'd be there. He's watching some other event.
They really out here trying to get woman to throw a 400 stone ball over a post..... what... the.... hell..... 300 would have been much more realistic. Nobody wants to see failures the entire event.

Seems a bit ridiculous to count hundreds of a second on the hammer hold, considering how subjective and inconsistent the time taking is.
