BigQuery - let's you get data easily from existing GCP services, and also import files/other DBs. - Major benefit is that it's scalable and feasible for petabyte sized data. Think millions of IOT device data, thousands of stores, etc. - Web UI for running queries and seeing results
The docs are located here: cloud.google.com/bigquery/docs And Leigha Jarett has been releasing weekly blog posts focused towards BigQuery admins. They are linked from the TH-cam description starting with episode 11 of this series: goo.gle/BQSpotlight
I am an absolute beginner; I am curious to know how I can create a virtual environment in python to be able to use the BigQuery library for SQL. I need a step-by-step guide
just going to point out that there is a server hosting this internally within google, it is a managed service but that doesn't mean it is server-less. If it is a service running in the cloud, somewhere there will be a server hosting it, as a user you just don't need to deal with that. Big query uses oath2.0 and thus it has a auth and resource server and special rules for working with them if you develop your own integrations that work with it so saying it is server-less is imo very misleading.

Good video!
At last a video with information and without "musak".

Need a GCP video series for BigQuery covering starter-Intermediate videos.
We're planning to get into some more intermediate topics later in the series. Feel free to send topic requests through these comments!
Alicia Williams Sure many thanks.
Thanks for the nice video...One question...Is it possible to delete data in table with row_number function in bigquery?
I had no idea Dan Bilzerian worked for Google
😂😂
how can I import my local oracle server data to GCP BQ?
Please post videos on difference between Broadcast joins and Hash joins in Bigquery. Thanks.
have you ever think about a "TV news channel" only to transmit tech information?
is there a reason the audio on this is so choppy?

Like always, It's awesome
Very nice!
😀thanks
Is this related to BigParser?
if Google can create a Google Access like Microsoft access, it would be great.

Literally nothin is serverless. The serverless for any web service has always meant that the user doesnt need to manage or buy any infraestructure.
Oke tankyou
so, what is big query
That's the power of Google!!
What is your BIGQUERY internal product stack ? sounds like hadoop, spark etc ..,Pls can you give some highlevel of this stack details .
