In the end Noah was a jerk. He kept saying to Reid how he stole his boyfriend. Hello.......... Noah you pushed Luke away, blamed Luke for losing your sight. And Reid is the reason why you can see again.
And then Noah tried to be slick and had that other guy around like it wouldn’t make Luke jealous. I’m sorry but that’s not my version of love. You stick with your partner through thick and thin, and you don’t push them away when you’re life is inconvenient.

Every time he said Reed stole his boyfriend. I wish someone would have said "What boyfriend! See Noah when you break up with someone you no longer have a boyfriend and that person is to date someone else who isn't both stupid and obtuse."
I always giggle during the Noah confrontation at the beginning. So ridiculous xD And I have to say it again; I absolutely ADORE Reid. When Luke goes after Noah, he isn't jealous or concerned; he trusts Luke completely, and he knows that Luke is just that kind of guy who wants to fix everything and everyone. I love that confidence, in himself and in Luke.
Dude. Seriously. How many people would react the way Reid does when Luke goes after Noah? Most would be jealous and annoyed and pissed. Reid is so understanding. He thinks it's stupid, but he doesn't necessarily care. He's not at all jealous of Noah Mayer. I love it.
Just love this series Noah and Luke and Reid fantastic characters a good series I just love it
Why does Noah treat Luke like a possession? PASSING him on? Seriously? Also, he says that Reid STOLE his boyfriend? He's acting like a middle-schooler. Umm Noah, I'm pretty sure you and Luke broke up before Reid ever made a move - and Luke can make his own goddamn decisions! He CHOSE Reid, Reid did not STEAL him. Grow up
@LilRippy That's just one of the things I love about this episode...just adore it when Luke tells Noah that he's in-love with Reid...happy sigh...but yes, Reid's trust of Luke, his lack of jealousy about Noah here...just another symptom of how easy LuRe is (present tense, of course), compared with the constant angst of Nuke.

back in 2005 i started to watch for Luke's story, Van was so captivatng and amazing,then Noah came and i thought something might happen but it was a snoozefast for years really for somebody that has higher expectations from a gay story.when reid came along and he was so outspoken and had the hots for Luke it was so great...

Reid Oliver is one of the best characters ever to come to Oakdale. I am so diappointed that this daytime drama is going off the air. and to be replaced with yet another talk show or game show. This will continue as long as people watch those kinds of programming. what show is next OLTL, Y & R this sucks. And as for Noah get real that guy basically threw luke at Reid. i will not spoil those of you that don't know what happens this Friday.

If The Young & Restless producers were smart, they would move Luke & Reid to Genoa City, make Reid Chief of Staff @ GC Memorial; we could still have Lure and Chris could have daddy's job & we would all be happy!

This is the one big problem with soaps, they always take a good character and turn them into a real jerk. Like Nuke where such a great couple but obviously they ran out of drama between the two of them so they brought in Rein’s character to give Luke a new love interest.
Don’t get me wrong I love Reid’s character it’s just that Noah is now leaving the show as jerk meaning that everything good about his character has almost been completely cancelled out by his recent actions. Noah being a jerk makes you feel better about Luke being with Reid still it’s sad to see their relationship end this way.
However I love Reid’s.
Noah isn't being "turned into a jerk" here. He's just being his usual self - pushing Luke away when he can't handle something, and then expecting him to be there waiting to get back together again when Noah's ready. Luke has always deserved someone who's not ready to walk away any time he's disappointed in him. Reid is perfect for Luke. I'm so glad that he came along.
This is very realistic. Noah's true colors started to show, some can survive while others may parish. Noah didn't want Luke's help, so he caused hisself to fall under. Noah was Luke's first love but not his TRUE LOVE. Everything happens for a reason
@@PABWECG Bingo! Noah always pushed Luke away when things got hard for him. And Luke falling for Reid is Noah’s own fault. He kept pushing him away yet again after the accident and rejected Luke time and time again. He always seemed to think he could just drop Luke and pick him back up whenever he wanted.
PS: Noah is an ass & if the show puts them back together after he threw Luke away (Reid stole Luke? Are u delusional Noah?!!) Anyway, I will be furious! Luke + Reid= massive chemistry!! Luke + Noah= massive snooze, zero chemistry!!
Noah hurt Luke and Reid knows that. He won’t let Noah do it again. If Noah had done something to hurt Luke by beating him up. Reid would definitely would not allow Noah to be anywhere near Luke.
