Thanks for a more detailed comparison of RSI vs ADX. This clarifies a lot of confusion on which set of indicators to use.

Keep in mind that whatever Weis recommends you should do opposite . He has been working the retail investors .
Great video. I do use RSI to mainly get an idea of whether a stock is “living” in the above 50 or below 50 range, and thus whether it’s bearish or bullish generally. I use an RSI of 9 because I want it to match my ASX of 9, could using different numbers be causing some issues? Looking at both RSI and ADX on the (9) setting, the “sell” signal comes on the same day (that huge red candle).
Generally it makes sense to use the same setting for both indicators.. but with RSI being so popular and used by and watched by so many I'm inclined to think that the 14 would make more sense... I'll have to do some back testing to confirm..
