    Hey Max, guten Morgen, ich habe deinen Kanal gefunden auf der Suche nach jigging Infos. Ich bin mit dem Segelboot in der Gegend Athen unterwegs, heute im Süden von Aigina und habe gehofft ein paar tips von dir bekommen zu können. Es ist mein erstes Mal in der angelwelt aber ich habe in Theorie so viel geschaut und gelesen das ich mir nicht mehr sicher bin was richtig und falsch ist. Wie ich z.B. den richtigen Ort auswähle vor allem. Ich hoffe du hast einen top oder vielleicht sogar Lust auf einen gemeinsamen Tag am Wasser. Ich bin noch bis zum 9. da bevor es wieder heimwärts geht.

      Hallo Dominic,
      geil das du dich mit der Materie Angeln im Mittelmeer auseinandersetzt - es ist super spannend, aber auch nicht einfach!
      Ich selbst habe schon mal vom Segelboot geangelt, das war vor vielen Jahren in Sardinien und Korsika. Das schwierige hierbei ist, dass das Mittelmeer nicht überall gleich viele Fische hat. Die stellen an denen sie sich befinden muss man suchen und dafür muss man sich voll und ganz der Materie widmen, kurz gesagt es ist nicht so einfach das nebenher zu machen. Ich kann dir aber soviel sagen. Das erfolgsversprechenste ist es vom Boot zu Schleppen, d.h. einfach einen Wobbler hinter dem Boot herzuziehen und auf einen der pelagischen Fische zu hoffen (False Albacore, Bonito, Mahi Mahi) wären mal zu nennen.
      Wenn ihr vor Anker liegt hast du vielleicht die Möglichkeit mit dem Beiboot auf die Felsen zu kommen. Hier würde ich es mit der Spinnrute und Wobblern, Poppern und kleinen Jigs probieren, das vor allem sehr früh morgen (1 h vor Sonnenaufgang) los starten!
      In den Bereichen um Aigina hast du wahrscheinlich die beste Chance auf Barracuda, die ziehen in der Nacht Abends bis Morgens an der Küste entlang und in die Häfen.

      happy to hear that you like the video! 💪
      In this video I used the 65g GJS Cultiva jig to catch the Dentex. About your question for the Sonio. To be honest I haven't tried it with 40g because I use un my setup PE 2,5 braid. But I think it will work well with thinner braid. In my opinion 65g is very good to fish and Sonio 100M is built especially for applications with lighter lure weights, so I'm sure it will be perfect.

      The Sonio 100M has a much softer tip than Accura 100M and plays lighter jigs for sure better. Als the lesser power helps to avoid line brake. If you try it you will see how much fun it is and I'm sure you don't want to miss Sonio 100M! 😁

      @@maxdocken Max im sure sonio is better in lighter jigs i also have a blackhole 30 -90 and a savage 1dfr 40 80 for lighter situations !!!Maybe i sell them someday in order to buy sonio !!!!I I also have a hearty rise apache max 120 and a hearty rise pirate max 140 those are my first rods 2015 season ...Big collection :p

      I have usually 3,5 m of FC when I fish with Jigs. When I cast the PE/FC knot is over the last guide so it's between first and second guide.

      Thanks man! 🙏 I use the GoPro 8 so nothing spectacular. The lens angle I use is wide, 60fps, 1080p. These settings work best for me.

    The guide diameter of the SONIO is the same as the ACCURA?

      Hi Aymen,
      I fish both rods with K-Guides. But the Sonio K-Guides are smaller. With Accura it's possible to pass the Owner #5 solid ring through the tip guide, that's not possible with Sonio.

      @@maxdocken it was shower rain 🌧 not heavy rain . The condition was great. But the location was dead. It was 20-100meter deep. But no luck. But often very close to me I saw big splashing. But nothing bite.

      @@maxdocken I tried savage gear line in throw sardine. No luck . It was trouts how just jumps everywhere but when I cast the same spot no bite tried for 4 hours I don’t know some things was wrong. It was one of the remotest lsland.

    Hello, im just after some advice. What is the maximum weight you would use for metal jigs and for sinking pencil and floating lures. Specifically for the Sonio?

      Hi John,
      thanks for your message.
      In my opinion the max weigh for Sonio is about 90g. Jigs of about 60g are very comfortable to jig and I think it's the sweet spot of the rod in terms if jigs. Slim jigs of about 80g are still very good to manipulate. I have fished with sinking pencils of 65g and it was really great, more heavy ones I didn't tried.
      You are planing to buy a Sonio? What's the main purpose you want to use is for?

      @@maxdocken I have purchased the Maria Rerise 70gm lures but think they might be a little heavy. While this rod is more a shore jigging rod have you tried using it for stick baiting surface lures?

      @@jpatane17 you are wrong! Actually Sonio is not a jigging rod, it's made to fish hardbaits and especially somehow light hardbaits for big fish. That's why Zenaq constructed it with a soft and flexible tip. The purpose was to cast smaller lures for fish like Amberjack.
      I guess it could work very well with a 70g sinking stickbait! But at the same time you are still able to cast 30g lures for example.
      What fish do you want to target?

      OK interessant, woher hast du die Info das die KGuide besser zum Jiggen sein soll? Zum Spinnfischen habe ich meine Sonio auch schon eingesetzt - klappt gut. Durch die weiche Spitze hatte ich ein paar mal Schnurschlaufen um die Spitze, würde mich interessieren, ob das bei der RG aufgrund der vielen kleinen Ringe auch passiert.

    My brother you shell use some tags of big TH-camrs like cavy fishing , briggsy sport fishing , brokkzy, legend, and other it will help you a lot. Survival beast. Just look around and find some big youtubers.
