Another 13 Going On 30 reunion. Its nice to see that both Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo remained the best of friends after 20 years since they starred together in 13 Going On 30(which is one of my all time favourites ❤❤❤).
I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this Ceremony honoring Mark, there was a good sized group of fans on Hollywood Blvd and I joined in. So glad I did. The energy was palpable and for good reason, Mark is an amazing human one we should all look up to. Congratulations Mark, you are so deserving of all the accolades.

Also, 'Spotlight', a movie that Ruffalo is so incredibly proud to have been a part of, winning Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay at the Oscars doesn't hold up well today. The reason why is that the film falsely portrayed a man named Jack Dunn as someone who was part of the Boston Archdiocesan cover-up when he never was. This caused both him and his family a lot of pain. The producers and Open Road Films defended the portrayal at first but then had to publicly apologize to Dunn and admit that his portrayal was inaccurate. It was very hypocritical of the director and writers to make a film criticizing people for harming others and lying about it when they were doing the same to Dunn and his family. Whenever 'Spotlight' is shown on TV, on a streaming service, or re-released on home media or in theaters there needs to be a disclaimer shown before it starts playing saying that fictionalized portrayals, dialogue, and drama were added into the film for dramatic effect.
I imagine every Hollywood actor who gets a Walk of Fame star, immediately gets an exact replica embedded into the floor of their home somewhere! I would! 😂

Ruffalo's acting in 'Avengers: Infinity War' made me feel very uncomfortable. I was only able to sit through two screenings of it. My dad and my brother felt the same way. He's also such a hypocrite when it comes to being an environmental activist. He believes in making everything green, but he was hit with a lawsuit for not cleaning up a fire that broke out on the set of an HBO mini-series he starred in and produced. The people who lived in the town where that mini-series was filmed claimed that the fire caused damage to their homes and they also suffered physical and emotional injuries from it.
I’ve seen his stuff and I’ve also seen plenty of other actors, he’s not one of our “greats”, I’m pretty sure of that. Maybe you haven’t seen enough variety to compare and contrast.
That is your right to think that, we all have actors, artists,... who we love to see playing & who we wouldn't pay 1€ for or even free For me he (Mark) is one of my favorite actors together with a handful of other actors. ✌🏻🪻
