This is so pretty, I love the color, I wonder how difficult it would be to get one in the boutique? For me though I hesitate, I love the details of the classic flap, the love letter pocket, the place for the lipstick, the burgundy interior, the CC’s inside the inner flap. I also love the camellia on the chain on this one to adjust the strap, very pretty. I think i may be too stuck on the heritage of the classic flap the Karl-ness, that and the 2.55 always make my heart flutter a little bit.
Hi Jackeline, Thank you for this video. Chanel handbags are my weakness. I wish I could afford every colour in the classic flap but I can’t and unfortunately with these prices, I don’t think so. Your idea with this smaller version with no flap is intriguing. Do you think the long chain can be made into two. I was thinking if you pullout the chain to the bottom and fold it into inside flap perhaps you can have two chains used like in the classic flap. Or will it harm the leather? Lisa xo
Hi Lisa! The chain can go all the way into two, as mentioned on the video you will need to either tied it or use a little soft hair band. I have done it once, and didn’t left marks, note that I do not overpack my bags, neither do I left it like that for long or overnight. When I was done that afternoon, I undone the band. There was a very recent documentary and they were interviewing very well-off women. These women were speaking about how they no longer purchase authentic purses and have chosen to purchase really good *amzrepe* of the designer bags that they do like. They then take that saved money and invest their money into other things such as real estate, stocks etc.
