Losing Town Crier (and Acolyte of Pain to a lesser extent) really slowed Warrior down. It really killed Galakrond Warrior because it was a pretty consistent way to draw invokes and keep active on the board.
Dr boom, warpath i could go on. Warrior is in shambles.
@@inasd7545 Bladestorm was supposed to be a suitable replacement for Warpath, but there's so many small minions around that it rarely does more than 2 damage. Bulwark is similarly bad since the prevalence of small minions and pings (namely Antaen and Priestess of Fury) frequently means it's rarely more efficient than a Healing Touch (save 8 Health).
Maybe a Galakrond Warrior shell could be formed out of Corsair Cache. Ritual Chopper is obviously core for the deck, and other cards like Livewire Lance and Ancharr could prove useful.
@Matthew Mazzatto Dekkster made a similar deck (I forget if it had Galakrond package or not) but it had Corsair Cache, Livewire Lance, Arcanite Reaper, and Gorehowl
And mainly it lost the best win condition which was Leeroy. It's no longer good against control and it's no longer fast against aggro. I predicted warrior is going to die without the 1-drops even before acolyte HoF was announced. I'm both sad warrior doesn't see play and happy I was right about the meta development. I think it was mistake HoFing Acolyte as it never really felt OP and it was probably the only constructed viable card draw, which wasn't replaced by anything. So we are just going to have to rely on card draw expansions give us. Classes without expansion card draw are going to die in most cases, like Warrior or Shaman.
I don't think even next 2 expansions are going to make warrior playable. The aggro Galakrond doesn't fit with the control tools it's getting and lol playing Warrior without Galakrond, what a meme that would be.

I actually think since that Demon Hunter had the other 1 drop in hand coin hero power made sense. It was a super aggressive hand with good potential you couldn't even hope to clear it until turn 3 if you weren't Galakrond.
I would have loved to see a 0 mana 2/3 that's dormant for 2 turns in this set.
That would be so much better than any other dormant cards because you can play it alongside a 1 drop on turn one. 0 Mana minions should never be powerful

I don't think priests realize they can mitigate temple berserker by just healing it. Why would you coin a 3 drop when you can heal and take only 2 damage keeping coin.

4:55 fun fact about maeiv on rush = freeze, except that the minion can't go face after it has been dormant, but can after it froze.
I know this is unusual for galakrond warrior but try it in a control shell. I personally use a taunt/dragon package and it feels amazing having an 8/11 armagdillo or buffing tomb warden to obscene levels. Just keep control of the board with your rush minions, invokes and 8 AOE. By late game you will have some THICC minions buffed from armagdillo or galakrond (sometimes from both >:D). Only found a few decks that can keep up with your lategame (libram pladadin and most priests) at which point you try to run them out of cards with archivist elysiana. Haven't ran in to another deck with her as of yet so fatigue has been GG most matches (did get combo'd by a demon hunter in most spectacular fashion involving kaelthas+doomhammer+inner demonx2, I had to applaud that combo lol).

Slam, molten breath and big ol' whelp are the flex cards for this deck. I removed shield slam because I often use invokes to remove minions so I'd have to wait for shield block to get decent armor levels, molten breath does this but on one card and even at the same mana cost! Slam and whelp are there to help draw/activate molten breath, you can cycle 5/6 cards depending on kronx then draw 4 with galakrond. I took out devoted maniac since the invoke on that card felt awkward alongside rush and never felt like it did enough lategame. Besides you still hit 4 invokes consistently with card draw, this could be improved with corsair cache instead of slam to straight up tutor an invoke but I like the potential removal for demon hunters (their entire early game is 2 health minions). If you feel you're facing tons of aggro I'd really recommend dropping archivist elysiana and 1 tomb warden for 2x sword and board, it's essentially armor up+shield slam for 1 mana instead of 3. That card has ruined a lot of demon hunters for me lol.

Warrior could really benefit from certain cards (warpath, town crier etc.) becoming classic. Fundamentally some classes had worse base sets than others, so maybe they could use a little help from the past.
If they hive new classics, I’m not sure those should be the ones, but it’s an interesting idea

Wanted a opinion if highlander hunter would be strong on the new expansion... Ive been a f2p for years and only last year could save enough dust to make a strong deck. Had all the core legendaries on highlander hunter, only missing veranus. Do someone know what is the meta for hunter now?
Face dragon and highlander hunter are all strong decks right now with 51-53% win rates which is pretty good.
The problem with Gan'arg is it's lategame is turrible. If you fail to draw it early game, it eats your Galakrond draws and might even replace the 5/2 weapon you get.

I hope they nerf zephyrs to say the following: if your deck had 1 of copies when you started the game discover the perfect card, because is just ridiculous how players put a copy of him even when not singleton decks. Also cards like this are bad for the game.

The problem with the Imprisoned Gan'arg 1 drop dude is that in this deck you dont mulligan agresively for the one drops, you want to keep the Galak cards in hand. In a pure aggro build its probably much better. 5 starts tho...?
Wouldn't Maiev actually be better than 2 turn freeze? Wouldn't it almost be like 3 turn because if the minion doesn't have rush then they would need to wait a turn to attack, because the summoning sickness would kick in, right?
Man, coin hero power from the demon hunter for +1 attack - just shows that the class is so good, that newer/worse players don't even need to necessarily play well; they can lean heavily on the strength of the cards. >.

Im using infectious sporeling with rush augmerchant and the cleave to destroy greedy plays and go full control with big weapons and galakrond but im only in rank 10 gold.That minion could be bonquers on rogue, warrior, druid and shaman with the right cards i think...

Quite crazy the hit warrior took to it's winrate with the new expansion, going from a high tier with Galakrond Warrior to somehow the worst. To my knowledge they didn't loose too much with the rotation so I wonder what happened

They lost a LOT. Witchwoods rush cards are a key part of any aggressive warrior deck, that 1 mana 1/2 draw a rush minion was a must play and now those cards are gone its early plays are quite a bit worse, and other decks have got a lot better in comparison.

Town crier, acolyte of pain, zilliax, and war path were huge losses. Yes half those are neutral but that's 7 cards in a 30 card deck that added consistent board clears and card draw.

That priest game... just because Trump trading is a meme, doesn't mean that you should go to the other extreme. Yes, leave up the 3/3 on the turn that the taunt comes off dormant. Not like Priest has any cards that interact with deathrattle minions, or that they can easily heal three damage.
