The most serene and beautiful piece of music that has put my baby soundly to sleep ever since she was a newborn. Through the moments I cradled her as she wondered at it all, to her crying into the night; but this music brought inner peace to us both. Next month she turns 2 and I think Spiegel im spiegel will forever be special to us.
Same! I first played this to my son as a newborn to help him sleep. He’s now nine and still asks for it at bedtime. Beautiful music with happy memories!

I used to listen to this song while I was reading a book called “Nightingale” it’s about WW2, now, every time I hear it I only think about this beautiful book. I suggest reading it. It’s stunning.
