My dear Sandra Brown, I have enjoyed your books over the course of my life and I have enjoyed every page. I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for not using the word "journey" and NOT saying that a man was thinking "and he bit his bottom lip". In my entire 61 years of life I have never, ever seen a MAN bite their bottom lip. Women do this. It's a thing. Men, never. There is 1 other word that is so overused I can't stand it but I can't remember it at the moment. It's 2AM. However when I do remember, and I will, I will write it in the comments either here or on some other book of yours I'm reading next. Thank you. ❤
Just not enjoying this one! I've liked your other books. The male narrator sounds like those 1950s crime stories. Mickey Spillane crime series with Mike Hammer. Maybe that was intentional??
I'm trying to get interested in this just too many commercials as soon as it starts going there's another commercial and they're long rats seems like I get story
Thank You. Really like the narrator.
