It’s gorgeous!!! I have a lot of Burnt Umber and Orange in my decor, so that is gorgeous for me. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. Many Blessings to you.
Oh I would love to go during autumn! I'd also love to see Scotland! I can't believe I live in ireland but have never ventured over to Scotland... it has to happen!
Orange scares me, so I understand your apprehension, in using it. However, I must admit, your colour palette, definitely complimented the orange. Beautiful painting, Erica 😍♥️💐💐
Erica, I too, have an "orange phobia" mainly I think because it is such an overpowering color, and has this stark bold appearance. But you have toned it down to a compatible color in this painting 😊 I love the end results, and I'm so glad you took the challenge to work with it, as this is gorgeously done!! Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed this very much 🤗❤
Love it!!! Haha, I was doing a straight pour this morning and had a cup of orange, but it's a colour that only goes with certain others. Didn't end up in mine!! It can make mud so fast. You on the other hand nailed it!!! Sometimes I add a little brown or beige in with my orange and it dries so beautiful. This is going to be gorgeous when it dries. I love Pumpkin Spice Lattes too. Great painting, you paired the colours so nicely!!
Hi Erica, I would love to see a brown, red, yellow, turquoise ,and gold or latte color palette. I’m new to fluid art and it really helps me to relax. So far I have done some coaster and a few paintings. I love watching you creating such beautiful pieces. Thank you for your inspiration.
Hi! I find the videos relaxing to watch too. As well as mixing! Thank you for your color palette recommendations and welcome to the fluid Art community. ❤🎨🙂
I’m loving this one, I am definitely not an orange person but this is really amazing. I’m an Aussie and I have no idea what a pumpkin spice latte is. Thanks so much for sharing. 😊
Way to push yourself out if you comfort zone! Beautiful! ❤ The orange! I do not like pumpkin spice in anything except pupmkin or sweet potato pies. I'm a hot chocolate/ hot cocoa girl! LOL!
@Erica Hughes Art.. hi hun I am just starting out with acrylic pours etc.. but I am really not sure which to buy the Owatrol Floetrol or flood Floetrol and what to use for the cell / lacing activator which do you use or prefer.. I live in the UK if that helps
I do like the colours, but I'd have used a LOT less orange (less is more with that colour), and I would have also included a bit of forest/dark green! Also, I'd have layered more of the dark brown on top rather than as one of the first colours going down. The light brown and the orange really took over (stunning colours though!), so the dark brown would have really helped balance things more if on top/more prominent. That being said, I do love the colours and I'm learning a lot from your techniques, Erica! I particularly love the way you "layered" the blowouts. You got a lot of nice definition with colours that can really blend in together if not used properly, but you did great with this one! The cells of the light brown on top of the dark brown are stunning. I'd love to see a "coffee" painting with those colours!
Hi! It varies. I'd say a 1:1 but keep in mind you add water to thin it down to the consistency depending on technique. Basically I add some paint to a cup then add a bit of pouring medium to that and start mixing. I keep adding pouring medium until the paint is "flow ready". As in, the paint can flow off the mixing utensil. Still VERY thick but able to flow. Then I add water until I have the consistency I'm after. I stop adding water when the flow hardly leaves a mound but does NOT sink into the surface of the paint in the cup. I always test my consistency about 2 inches above the paint in the cup. Man.... I really need to do a proper mixing video. Way over due... let me know if you have any questions. 🙂❤
Thanks for being here! Don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already!

Orange is not my color either but I gotta say, it turned out awesome!
Hi Kanella! ❤ Thank you! Hope all is well! 🙂
Hi Erica, this is gorgeous! Do you do blooms anymore? If so, do you use the same PM?
Way to push yourself out if you comfort zone! Beautiful! ❤ The orange! I do not like pumpkin spice in anything except pupmkin or sweet potato pies. I'm a hot chocolate/ hot cocoa girl! LOL!
I do love me some hot chocolate!!! Thank you!! ❤

Where do you get your round boards? This is beautiful! Thanks
Thank you! My hubby makes them. We may add them to my website.
Beautiful!! ❤
Quick question ,,,,, how many parts PM to paints you would say you use !? ( Amsterdam) Tia
Hi! It varies. I'd say a 1:1 but keep in mind you add water to thin it down to the consistency depending on technique. Basically I add some paint to a cup then add a bit of pouring medium to that and start mixing. I keep adding pouring medium until the paint is "flow ready". Nice fall painting. It looks very glossy, it this a result of your pouring medium? Where do you show the dried result?
Thank you! I will show the dried result in my next video. I do add gloss gel to my floetrol. x
The painting is beautiful. However, please get a shot of the finished projects on the wall vs, seeing the cleaning up of the edges for 5 m.
Where you buy the rounds boards
My hubby makes them for me 🙂
