I will always be grateful to my bestie for getting me into The Crue! I didn't grow up with the hair metal/glam metal of the 80s, I became obsessed in my late teens/early twenties. But these guys are the epitome of rock and roll!
You probaby woulda loved the 80's --- you could drive around any small town in America on a Friday night and hear this song being cranked out of people's cars, while cruising to the mall or just hanging out in a parking lot --- life was simpler back then, but people were happier and laughed a lot as well

I'll never forget this song! I used to dance and swing off the posts of my parents 4 post bed when this video would come on MTV at only 8 or 9 years old! 😂... Ok so question for all my fellow females out there. I know that this was probably not the message motley intended to give with this song but does anyone when listening to it feel a sense of confidence in themselves? That feeling of I’m a beautiful woman who feels comfortable in her own body.
Wayne Isham, the man that filmed this music video, says in The Heroin Diaries that the concept behind "Girls Girls Girls" was strip clubs. Mötley told him this themselves.
However, Isham didn't think that the video's purpose was to exploit women; rather, it was a celebration of them. "...like a burlesque thing." He said.
The video itself is exactly how Mötley wanted it portrayed; the interpretation, however, is up to the viewer. Think about this though: they contemplated filming this at an all-nude club called Body Shop, but two issues arose from this. Firstly, filming such a club would've obliged much censorship for obvious reasons. Secondly, this club did not serve alcohol. One could make the judgement whether the former or latter was more important to Mötley since they were chronic addicts, especially Nikki.
They eventually decided on a more traditional strip club that served alcohol called the Seventh Veil. Seeing that they chose alcohol over bare cats helps their case a bit.

I will never forget this show because when my best friend and room mate left the concert we kept saying that was a badass show and then I said you know what I think I want to start a band and he said I want to be in it...by the end of the summer we had wrote some songs and played our first party. That band stayed together for over 5 years, we never made it to this level but we sure had fun playing all over town. Good times!
I miss the old school strip clubs. I was working as a bartender back in the 80s and loved it. Now it's all ass slapping together and crap music.

I have to admit, I was never been a huge fan of theirs, liked some songs, but not a die hard fan, but some of their music does seem to appeal to me quiet a lot. Enjoyed this one and even decided to use it in one of the shorts. Great music, very uplifting and has a great punch to it.
