I think I am going to do mine with a birdbath with a couple of small birds enjoying the birdbath. I think I can draw it easily enough. We shall see…..lol…..we live in the country. There is an area on someone’s property this past spring. When I looked while driving my three wheeled motorcycle, I was so taken by the beauty of it, I stopped and enjoyed my picnic lunch looking at it. It was a field full of Texas state flower, the bluebonnet. There was an old style windmill, used in the past. Not a new modern one. And several large cement fountains out there somehow plumed to the windmill. Birds all around bathing in the water in the fountains. Not near a house. But obviously someone who loved birds had done this on their property.
Love your idea with the hat. Maybe with a daisy chain around it.

I never enjoyed sewing or stitchery, my mom and grandma did and did lovely work. Now I’m thinking I want to give it a try. I bought the embroidery book you showed, so among my other duties I will try! Thanks

Just love your creativity and labor of love in this stitchery project. It is so well done, jealous as my stitchery needs lots more practice . I used to do lots when I was a teen, (some 60+ years ago) I have done a few projects adding stitchery to a blouse, and shirt. Fun, but requires practice.

Thank you Rachel!! You have no idea what a day it’s been here but at some point in the day a package was left at my door!! Yay!! My fabric from Rachel was here! No, I couldn’t even open the box because I needed to sit through and participate in about 4 more straight hours of meetings…if I ever decide to sell my house again I hope someone talks some sense into me!! Then, as I realized that I was running very low on energy I retrieved from the freezer a pizza my son had ordered for me 3 days ago which was also too busy to cook, started it warming when I had to turn my attention to something else and finally when I just fell into bed I remembered the package!!! Yay! I just looked over the luscious fabrics and I am in love!! So beautiful!! I had not realized that if I ordered two of the same fabric that I got a larger piece instead of two identical pieces and I am so happy about it! How much can you order before the design repeats? Now that I know that you get bigger pieces, I need to reorder all of my previous pieces to see what the rest of the design is!! But I need to wait for your answer so that I know how much to order! I so love your fabrics! You don’t print them at home do you?? I don’t think such large pieces would be possible. And Thank you again for such amazing service! I just can’t believe how quickly they came! And the linen feels so good!! Thank you again!! 💕Donna
