Honestly there is no bjj content I enjoy more than your videos - keep it up. Always entertaining and educational at the same time!

Yep. I appreciate the down-to-earth and not overly productionalized/refined script. The words sink in better and feel more like a conversation than a lecture.

Love your content format. Watching a live roll (even better that it’s a comp), while you narrate the technical aspects. Really well done. 10/10

@@PheseantNetsuke im just a dumb wrestler. Pulling guard is the dumbest looking, and frankly it’s quite a feminine thing to do from my perspective. Just do a proper take down and show your aggressive domination the way men are supposed to.

@@CarlosVerdinOfficial bjj people are so ass at wrestling that it becomes boring. Pulling guard makes jj more fun

@@CarlosVerdinOfficial kind of weird to call it feminine, however I do agree that pulling guard shows a lack of knowledge in take downs/fighting while both are standing. Sometimes it just looks lazy, too. In reality, when you’re in a fight with someone on the street, pulling guard immediately would be so weird… I can’t stand it when people do it in matches too. I get WHY people do it. But in a ranked match is weird. Practice is fine. But both people in the video pulled guard.

    good win
If I can say: when he first wrestled up to vertical and tried to completely disengage and get away you shouldn’t have chased after him -reaching out grasping for anything you can grab hold of, eventually kind of snagging a bit of his heel. There’s no real great payoff for you that can come from that. Be in control, not out of control.

When he had you in underhook DLR is a great example of instead of forcing your favorite pass, go for something else. Sliding up to hit a shin to shin pummel on his non dlr leg might've helped there. Good match tho!

If you knew he was going to pull you should have sat to guard and come up for the advantage
Always double pull bro even if you’re going to play top, at least you will start match wifh an advantage

If we don't call the moves gay other people will. I view it as a form of reappropriation.
