I hear you man I divorced my wife once I turned 56 I'm 60 now because I got paralyzed and she needs a younger man to live on but I do miss social contact. She comes by to see our son n I it's torture n my fault 😔 but I know she is happy pretty petite n gorgeous 20years younger though I did the right thing . I hope you get that hug that'll keep coming n share the love your full of sir your compassion don't go unnoticed

Stay free and happy and know you're videos are an inspiration. I left the rat race of the city almost 28 years ago to live in the New Hampshire mountains/wilderness and never regretted it. It's not van life, but everyday I have solitude, peace and quiet and the people /locals are more civil and happy.
I relate to this so much. I love the way you portray your life through your videos, it's so beautiful to see art like this and I feel the same way so often. To feel free has been my main goal in life, but I always feel this dread to define myself by external things and societal pressures. You are so right by saying we are all more than one thing. We are not definable, we just want to live freely, but that can be hard to do. I aspire to live as freely as you❤. Love your videos!

I'm not living your life but I can see that you are struggling ( I believe you even said it) and need companionship but, the internet can be a very dangerous place. I worry about what kind of creeps you might get responding to this request and sending a generic picture of "themselves" to show they are not serial killers.
I know , in your own words , "overly dramatic" . But I have grown fond of who you are and I want you to be safe.

Indeed, the Internet is a double-edged sword. On one side, Ame seems to have found her niche to make sustainable (I’m assuming) income from her channel. But I’m sure everyone would agree that another side of it does present certain dangers. Therefore, a blanket invitation to meet with just about anyone among the viewers could be considered somewhat unguarded. It might quite likely attract less-than-reputable individuals with propensity for predatory behavior. (This likelihood could also be quite high considering the fact that Ame is a beautiful young lady with model-like figure which could make her a desirable target.) Perhaps a healthy dose of paranoia might be warranted. That’s why I would recommend taking simple precautions to keep herself safe. I would insist on public (crowded) places of meeting. A bottle of pepper spray should be easily accessible at all times as well.

Ame always looks stunning and awesome! Her fashion sense is so much better than most people i know. The perseverance of van life and life in general definitely supports my week. Whatever I am going through. I feel like I can relate to her and it is reassuring that none of us are alone. I have been interested in Van life for years now and once deciding how to survive on the road without a typical job I will be there! Also France is so much better than here in the UK for VL.

This is something I'm trying to tell people more and more. It's easy to fall into the trap of having clearly delineated opinions, things being black or white, but the reality is never just one thing. There are millions of factors that combine to produce a moment. And similarly, we are not just one thing. We're a million things.

Well I'm gonna be 51 next month, and I've pretty much been single for all but 1 year and 2 months of my life. And for an 8 year stint I was trying to be something I am not, I guess you'd say??? So after that, I just started being myself and just doing the things that I enjoy doing, not worrying about all the other things that I see everyone else doing. I mean after all, everything in life is kind of a compromise right, or at least it kinda is for me anyways.
So what I guess I'm trying to say is, and if there's anything I've learned, it's to try not to do things you are not capable of doing, because it can be one big trip down a heart break lane, and surly not just for you, but everyone else who is involved....
I hope that's not to stereo typical, and I really hope that helps, or at least just a little?
And just remember to keep a heads up girl.

On the face of it van life seems the idyllic way of life, but in reality doing it on your own must be extremely lonely.
Like you, I am also seeing early signs of depression and I hope she recognises this before it becomes too late to do anything.

I appreciate your talent, creativity, attention to detail and effort. I knew I never wanted to do 9-5 conventional life in my early teens. Like most, I got stuck with a career and bills, programmed by the rules. I’ve not told you this before. You opened my eyes, reminded me life can be an adventure, without limits, that we have a choice, can take action, strive for huge goals! I am mulling over my next steps and true purpose. Thank you ❤
I think it’s healthy honesty to admit you have struggled, and to accept occasional help from your Dad and others. Your tears are strength, though it hurt me to see it. You don’t need to be strong and independent every moment. The bad times are like a dark sky filled with clouds and rain, soon parting to unveil a splendid rainbow. The good times are then sweeter, valued even more.
You are enough and will be okay. You won't be alone. I feel your stars are in motion to align already, since your “manifesting” on New Years Eve 😉 All will be well. Trust me. Only the early chapters of your book have been written, much lies ahead, with more big, exciting dreams to pursue. My advice: focus on you, care for yourself, follow your true purpose/vision, things with real meaning, feels right, makes you happy, as this is all that matters.

Whilst I have the upmost respect and admiration for your skills , excellent videos and your bubbly personality I do feel you mask your real emotions very well . For such a bright, dynamic, capable and intelligent you seem IMO, rather a lost soul . All this van stuff is not fulfilling you as there really are only so many wonderful camp surest, car parks, lakes, beaches and chemical toilet facilities any one can take. Yes as it appears you are single with no responsibilities you are actually FREE to go and do whatever you wish . However I feel that you would be much more free mentally if you were actually to accomplish something, seeing an end result, doing something!

You seem very stressed lately.
The idea of having to get that perfect coffee makes no sense to me. A shopping spree in Paris does, but that's what many of us (like to) do. Add to that the fact that you now realised you need someone to be there with you (for you?) makes it all clear to see you are getting tired of having to show everyone what your life is all about.
Like I said before, maybe it is time to dedicate the time to yourself and commit to that. I am certain many here would love to see just where you have been, if it is only once per month, and where it was, no matter if you are in the picture or not. Your main focus is to be free you say, but we all see that what keeps you busy, is us, the viewers. We all are stopping you to be really free.
You believe we need to see more of you and that is exactly why you won't be free.
A companion will make you less lonely surely but it'll bind you even more in freedom.

Yours was the last I watched before hitting the sack. Then a really enjoyable night's sleep, thanks Amélise. I have a 12v pump, but to save water I added a remote switch fob. Mine is for washing the car and house windows. So you could have this when washing your hair. Switch on for wetting the hair, off for shampoo (water saved) and on again for rinse.

Okay, boredom and loneliness is the byproduct of being free and being free relies on other people not being free, the people that serve you for the things you need do not have the option of joining you for a cup of coffee whenever they want, they need to work to pay their bills and if everyone becomes a nomad you will lose your freedom as you will need to work to barter.
My advice unsolicited as it is, is to enjoy every day of the freedom you have as a young woman who has the most precious gift of all which is to be in control of your time. It wont last so make sure you live in the now and enjoy every day and every experience until the time comes for you to settle down and lay down some roots to live a life and raise a family that you can pass on the gifts of your experience and inspire them to do the same. Its late so I'm rambling a bit but its nice to see you back on the air again you brighten my day.

Ame, a great way to meet like minds when travelling is to do a course in something you're really into. I travelled a ton on my own and went to yoga places all over the world became a yoga teacher. Yoga places are full of cool open minded people of all ages. Go to a big one, there's a largeish sivananda yoga place in the west of france, you could park there I'm sure and do a bit of work and get to know a ton of people passing through. Also there's the woof thing, workers on organic farms, these things might not be your jam but I'm sure there are other types of communities too. Doing a course in anything you're into which is in a group setting at least would be a start. I think asking for emails on line might be a bit weird in terms of results, we need to be around people to feel things out and naturally gravitate to them or not. ❤Lots of love btw yoga places would mean being veggie 4 a while probably unless you parked outside the place.

Freedom is to break away from the norms and standards of current society in order to do whatever you want to do inside the realms of the laws set. I respect people who take that decision and choose to live their life to their fullest. You only have one life, and I don't believe in re-incarnation, especially when you are not able to port the memories in previous lifes.
