Kalavantin Durg Trek Descend | GoPro on Head Mount | Scary or Dangerous or Normal?

- A lot of videos are on the internet regarding how scary descend of Kalavantin Durg is. So, when I trekked to Kalavantin Durg, while descending I decided to head mount the GoPro and show what it really looks like without the camera being deliberately used at an angle which will make it look scary. The GoPro being very wide is not absolutely close to reality and yes there are certain parts which do look scary but they are actually not. Maybe in monsoon with the steps being slippery, it can get tricky but overall I personally did not feel this to be scary.
As siting on my chair watching this I nearly fainted and fell off the builders of the steps must of been mountain goats ,I wonder how many died making the steps! AWESOME

As i have travelled this track many times
This Track is in New Panvel Area
But the real season when one should visit will be rainy season
It is just Magical to climb mountains
Danger for the first person, if cameraman falls this person will automatically go down to the earth with speed of light before cameraman 😁
Very less chances of that happening. Extremely rare. On the other hand, there's about 1.3 million people dying every year as a result of road traffic clashes.

Wow, one slippery step can be very fatal. Is there any safety tools such as a rope, or maybe parachute? Have any accident ever happened so far??
Accidents can happen anywhere, just like on roads there are car/bike/bus accidents or even in out homes electric or gas or ladder related. However, accidents on these type of treks are generally rare. This trek does not need ropes except for only one climbing section which is at the pinnacle.

What is not?
The camera gives the illusion of the trail being so steep but in reality it's not. Try going there and you will understand what I am saying.
Yes the GoPro makes it more dramatic than it is. It is about 70-80 degree rock cut steps and the GoPro makes it look like 90degrees.
If anyone gets slipped from above while negotiating, he will not go down alone but with max. people negotiating just below him.
How adventurous these people are.

Everything is just wrong with that. No rail going down the trail to put a safety rope on. This isn’t about bravado just sheer stupidity. It’s not an adventure but a lazy path. Imagine it rained heavy or the wind picked up? Someone has to then rescue them..and then put their life at risk
