Hello Jess. Thank you for speaking out about mental health issues and therapy. The stigma has lessened but it still hasn’t gone away. As you know, I have some experience as a mental health worker. I also have lived with depression and trauma for many years. Therapy has saved my life. Jess, I’m sorry that people give you hate for how your kids eat. At least you are feeding your children and are being supportive of their individuality. Both Jamie and I had traumatic experiences with food in our childhood. You are doing a great job momma. 🍌🍌🍌🍌
I have been in therapy for many years with multiple different therapist. Sometimes you don’t realize things about one therapist until it’s too late and years have passed with no results. I am currently with one therapist who is no longer working with a specific company at the beginning of the year. I didn’t realize things until years later with nothing getting better and hurting myself mentally. She’s very understanding in many ways. I enjoyed the dinner videos when you made them. Everything you said about why you don’t do them is very understandable. I eat very different than both my parents. Sometimes it’s kind of similar but at the same time different. All the food prep and the meals you talked about sounds good. The buffalo chicken dip wouldn’t be something that I would like. I like few things with chicken, don’t care for ranch, can’t eat dairy and like certain things that are spicy. I used to eat banana’s but they became too tempting even though I was particular about which ones I liked. Made it to the end.
It’s 830 in the evening and all I can think of is your coffee! 😂😂. I have a walking pad but there’s no way I can walk while I’m working. I’m not that coordinated. 😂. I make Alex a different dinner and I no longer care because he is eating and every picky person I know eventually will eat everything. Have a great weekend! 😊
🍌🍌🍌 I can relate so much to needing *help* but not asking for it. I was in such a bad place for so long until I made myself reach out and thankfully I found someone amazing. You don’t realize how bad things are until they aren’t….I still have bad days but they don’t turn into weeks or months anymore. At my house everyone gets what they want for dinner. I’d rather be a “short order cook” than have to deal with complaining or them refusing to eat. I always think about - there’s things I will refuse to eat so why would I not expect the same of my husband and kids? It doesn’t take anymore time and if doesn’t bother me why would it matter to someone else?
🦋🍌 Yes. I never understood that because I didn't have a picky eater. He always ate what we did. My cousin's son was picky though.If you have banana that about to go bad peel and freeze add almond milk and skinny syrup blend it taste like ice cream I add protein shake
Hey Jessica. I haven’t seen you drink your optiva drinks anymore. I see your drinking diet cokes again and iced coffees. Are you and David still doing optiva?
That coffee ☕️ sounds yummy 😋 I will be making banana 🍌🍌🍌 protein muffins this weekend since I have a bunch to use up. 👩🏻🍳The rest I'll peel and freeze 3 per baggie for future baking. 😊

Yes we are. The iced coffees usually has the shake in them. I never cut out coffee or Diet Coke.
