    It would be so great if there was a full service video out there with a step by step guide since you kind of have to do it yourself. Maybe even a series with everything you need to do every year and so on. The community needs it

    I'm planning on changing the spark plugs on my nuda next weekend, thanks for the video, I really appreciate it!

    Cheers for this Derick, just about to do my plugs, makes me think my old GSXR was more engineering friendly than I realised compared to this.

    Great video - thanks for taking the time and trouble to make it - can you tell me what adapters you use for the Abba stand for the Nuda - many thanks

      Hi Pat, send me a message on Face book and I'll send you some pictures of what I have cobbled up for the ABBA stand. I didn't buy and adaptor (By Definition) but ABBA do sell parts that work. Even though they say they don't have an official adaptor kit.

    great tips mate .any video on how to replace the idle valve jet. I think mine is failing

    • @relph3
      @relph3  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's probably not the idle valve but the T connecter at the back of the airbox which has crack and is letting air in.

      Is it a known issue? Mine falls of sometimes or runs not good in idle

    Thanks for the video Derick am about to tackle the job and will save me a lot of faffing about. What about the healtech quickshifter have you had a good run out of it and it works well?

    • @relph3
      @relph3  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your comments. I have had the Healtech quickshifter fitted for about two years now. It works well but there are caveats.
      I have had the odd false neutral which just wouldn't have happened if I used the clutch to change gear.
      It doesn't change gear any quicker than when using the clutch. I think because the gearbox is more agricultural than on sports bikes.
      It works by cutting the injectors briefly when acting on the gear lever with your foot and it doesn't know what gear you are in. So if you either accidentally touch the gear lever or check that you are in say top gear with your foot the engine cuts as if you are changing gear. You would be surprised how many times this can happen.
      Overall it is a novelty and now I have it I use it but probably wouldn't buy it again...
      Back to the plugs... After you have done the job once then you will be able to just about do anything on the Nuda. Good luck.

    How can you prevent the water to get in?

    • @relph3
      @relph3  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've not found a way of stopping water getting in completely, however I do now spray WD40 on the coil packs and down the spark plug tubes after I make sure everything is dry. I am going to smear grease round the coil pack seals next time I change the plugs to try to stop water ingress in the future..

    What happened to the bi colour wheels?

    • @relph3
      @relph3  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The white colour of the wheels was painted vinyl wrap. It was painted to match the colour of the other white parts of the bike. The problem was that the paint started to peel off the wrap and looked tatty, so I decided to take it all off. I would get it done again if I could find out where it was originally done.

    Why do European bikes have so complicated access to most basic maintenance stuff like air cleaner/ filters or spark plugs. Literally open every screw to gain access

    • @relph3
      @relph3  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes I agree. Although my 2000 Kawasaki ZX12R was far more fiddly to get to the plugs.. In fact some owners have had to drop the engine to change them.

      It is ridiculous. It was BMW... they want to cash in on everything. Even on maintenance. If you can't do it, you take it to the dealership. I guess that was the concept, lol.
