KFC is the most pure radio guy at the company so it makes sense he liked the radio and Dave didn’t. Dave’s content is a lot different than that. KFC is such a good talker where Dave is more of a character

@@stevemygoodman7809 I was just thinking of within the barstool office, but you’re right. Minihane is actual radio. I think KFC naturally is just as good as minihane tho, just did other things on top of radio. He’s one of the easiest guys to listen to I’ve ever heard

Started watching some Barstool 5 years ago and got really invested over the pandemic. KFC radio has the best comedy guests outside of Rogan. He deserves all of his money, and does his show without asking for help from the Barstool brand. Great work.

I wish Dave showed more heart. KFC was clearly bummed when Dave said he didn’t miss radio days. Glad KFC thanked him for the loan offer; very sweet!
But Kevin grew up idolizing Mike Francesca and Mad Dog. He’s a true radio guy like Eddie. Dave isn’t a radio guy.

Probably because he has kids and Dave still lives like he’s in his 20’s. Love the Pres, just wish he’d show a sentimental side more often.

im not the biggest KFC fan but gotta give him credit. He’s been on various stand-up comedian podcasts and has had alot of legit new york stand-ups on his podcast. Dave is lucky to have this whole other pocket of a comedy-based podcast

@Brett Amoroso and what “pocket of stand up comedy podcasts” are you referring too? I’m not aware of any stand up comedian podcasts created by/at barstool and if there is one I’d like to check it out. I love listening/watching Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend”, Brian Callen’s “Fighter and the Kid”. KFC may have appeared as a guest on other comedians podcasts and of course “KFC Radio”, “The Dave Portnoy Show” and many other barstool content podcasts can be funny at times, but these are not stand up comedians. Feel free to explain yourself.

I think the rundown with the OG3 is awesome and everyone loves it because it's about the three individuals more than the stories. I would invest more into polarizing characters and figure out how to keep them in house, instead of saying "they get the big offer and we replace um" because these people aren't replaceable as has been made painfully clear. Quality over quantity, loyalty over everything. It's not at all too late to bring it back to the golden days, and the OG rundowns, Jerry, Mintzy are all exactly what the Dr ordered!

Jerry is I think what's gonna showcase Rico's potential, I think Marty and Rico can be hysterical but when the pressure is on them to be the leader of the show it just feels awkward and they aren't able to be off the cuff and in their element as much, but Jerry takes the lead on a show without even thinking about it, that's natural to him and he's amazing at it! Them together doing random vlogs I think could be hysterical! Imagine them going to a shady Asian massage parlor, or going to eat goats eyes, them getting make overs from the out and about boys, and let them just go and it will be dynamite!
I remember the old days !! Beginning days lmao I was hooked from the get go , remember hot girls of the week (don’t remember if it was college girls or girls ) ….. I honestly took a 2 year hiatus like 5 years ago but other than that I’ve been a stooly forever !!! Dave truly built this company from his apartment to what it is now , and it’s amazing…… always had the dream to work at Barstool
I love Eddie and how he has this show set up.
I think Dave has a good point that all of the original guys have carved out their niche, but I also think it’s important now that they’ve grown so much to do stuff like this and the big 3 rundowns. Doesn’t need to be every day hours of radio together, keep it fresh but give the people what they want

I have lived in NC for 2 years and have been looking for High Noon the entire time. Every time I went home to NJ I would always buy a couple cases. I just assumed it was a northeast thing. I never even thought to look in the ABC store for them
I think Dave regrets this Penn deal. Hes overworked, underpaid, his money is tied to a manipulated market, and he gave up all of Barstools upside with that deal. If Mcafee alone got 120mil, Alex Cooper got 60mil, the entire Barstool brand today is worth a billion.
I’d say he definitely regrets the deal especially with the full out out option for penn if he could opt out he would. But when his contract is over if they want him they are going to have to pay him a boat load of money that will make up for it

Dave would craft tweets live, the one where he was going at AOC over the Union stuff hilarious to hear live. He was doing it literally to try to get trump to retweet lmao
