Depends on how well the movie is written or how much action is put in, if you ask me. This new trilogy sounds promising, and Bumblebee (from a storytelling standpoint) was the first good Live Action TF film we got since 2007. And with the delays Rise Of The Beasts is getting, hopefully it’s good.
We’ve got a good set up with bumblebee, a good director behind the wheel who’s actually a beast wars fan, who wants to bring in the heart of bumblebee and action of the previous movies, I’d say it would be pretty hard to fail this one

I do like the idea that the next few films could crossover No-Way-Home-style or possibly connect with the Bay continuity. Bring some proper closure to the Bay timeline, even if not every TF fan would be on-board with it. So that hardcore fans would get the much better and well-written TF films while the Bay fans can finally have their series reach a conclusion.
I'm definitely just excited that it's not a dead franchise yet. When I was a kid I thought that the bay movies and the WFC video games was going to be the end. I had no idea we would get to see TFP or anything like that. Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to this :)

Unicron deserves a chance to be finally seen as well as his ancient, booming, black bass voice to be heard. I still would like to know who would be voicing him. I was thinking of James Earl Jones, Clancy Brown, Josh Brolin, or Benedict Cumberbatch. Maybe John Noble can reprise his voice again and maybe make Unicron’s mouth move often while he’s speaking.
You do realize that Unicron was originally voiced by Orson Welles, right? DEFINITELY NOT a black man. As it is NOT all deep bass voices are black. so not sure why you qualified it that way, either. /ponder

Before James Earl Jones was casted to do Darth Vader's voice, George Lucas originally had David Prowse to speak through Vader's mask and it came out as a tenor. So Lucas decided that Vader's voice should have a darker sound, not in terms of ethnicity but timbre and darkness. Technically, that was my concept for Unicron. When I thought about it, I thought to my mind that he should sound like he's really the destroyer of multiple universes with that voice and power in a Wagnerian Ring Cycle approach.
I think the storyline will be on point. Knowing they are filming in Peru around Machu Pichu. The megalithic sites are enormous and in rare places. They will come up with something to connect the old sites to the Transformers.
Man if this is a new universe. I hope we get to see some bayverse elements like Ironhides Twin Cannons and sideswipes swords and wheel foots. And maybe some transformers that people liked more because of the bayverse. Like Blackout and Barricade and maybe even the fallen.
I wouldn’t mind the universe’s mixing as long as they don’t overdose one the Bayverse style. There has to be a balance for this to work. However, even if that works, many might complain that transformers are ripping of spider-man and so the twist wouldn’t be that good… but I refuse to look at the bad side of this potential!

A bit off topic but I always dreamed of some High quality Transformers Team based - FPS game. What could make the game unique is the ability to transform. So the combat system can go from something like Overwatch/Valorant to something similar to battle mode in Mario Kart games. They can even use war machines to give the game more options to win like in Star Wars Battlefront

I think it’d be pretty cool if Rise of the Beasts took inspiration from both Terminator and Days of Future Past to bring in the Bayverse continuity. For example, they could say that Optimus Primal and the Maximals retreated back in time to save the future from the Bayverse Unicron who defeated Optimus and the Autobots. And now Scourge along with his Terrorcons have followed the Maximals back to the past in an effort to destroy Optimus Prime. So, that by the end of the movie you can establish that this is firmly a new timeline that’s now no longer bound by the continuity of the Bayverse.
A great thing if this is still connected to the Bay directed films is that with Megatron on ice. This could give other antagonists time to shine, like Shockwave and Starscream fight over leadership of the Decepticons. We know that Shockwave was on Earth as early as 2009 from the newspaper clipping of a G1 Shockwave. Would be awesome if this trilogy is building up Shockwave as a Villain. For the Prequel Era.

I believe that the main reason why they chose to go with the tone of bumblebee is because it is the only transformers film that has gotten extremely positive reception, as well as box office success. The bay films kept going on a downward spiral if quality.
I'm a massive fan of transformers always have been since the early 80s. I even got my boys into the G1. We watch Transformers 86 maybe 4 times a year. We drive round banging Stan Bush tracks out. As the years went by I became pissed off with Bay films. But Bumblebee got me hyped for this.
THE SCENE WHERE OPTIMUS SMASHES INTO SCOURGE! We see that following that scene Optimus is really busted up, with parts hanging off him. What if after that scene Optimus is damaged and Wheeljack has to fix him up with a new alt mode? Said new mode being the Man 8x8!

I do understand the complaints of Bayformers designs. Panel forming isn't exactly fun, the toys aren't as durable as they used to be and it takes a while to get screen accurate toy transformation, but Hasbro going back to the G1 designs isn't the greatest idea imo. I understand there are a lot of people that hold a special place in their hearts for G1, but they need to recognize that if they want this franchise to survive, they have to let go. Had it not been for the decisions made by Michael Bay and others at Paramound, the franchise wouldn't be as recognized as it is today even with all its faults.
G1 keeps the franchise alive. People were so happy to see the BBM designs because that’s the first time we ever seen those designs in live action. Yeah Bay made Transformers popular but he also made Transformers a joke.

Bay made it more popular YES but G1 kept the franchise stable even after the bay movies ended. G1 sells as it always has. It is the birthplace of the franchise and should be the designs of the films going forward because everyone knows the G1 designs.

It’s new series is a slow burn and isn’t going as fast as it needs to. You can use the G1 designs all you want and still had a mid story. That doesn’t mean G1 isn’t a staple of the franchise and keeps it stable. In the lead up to ROTB and after the BBM what did Hasbro release? The WFC trilogy. In regards to the Terrorcons: We know they have vehicle modes, we've seen 3. Nightbird, Scourge, and a pickup truck. Though on Scourge we've seen a new crest, which bears resemblance to a Herald of Unicron crest. So, perhaps these Terrorcons are Heralds of Unicron.

As I mentioned multiple times to make sure people don't get the wrong idea, I don't really mind if Bumblebee or Rise Of The Beasts are indeed reboots. But the thing that messes with my head is Simmons & even Sector 7's inclusion. Unlike Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee, or Starscream; Simmons & Sector 7 were Bayverse concepts. And I find it weird that they would be brought along for the reboots if they truly wanted to distance themselves from the previous films. But who knows, maybe they can Days Of Future Past this film that could be a win for everyone.

As a transformer fan who has watched most of the transformers cartoons my favorite ones are the original cartoon and beast wars and transformers prime the only way to do it right would be to combine both original transformers with the beast war transformers so we get to see both iconic teams standing together fighting to save the entire universe against overwhelming odds just when it looks hopeless Primus arrives and bonds to his loyal soldiers the autobots and maximals while unicron bonds with his soldiers the deceptions and perdicons both granting more powerful upgrades ones we haven't seen before in any transformers media transformers has had a powerful impact in my life as the power rangers have both taught me life lessons in their own ways in the versions of transformers and power rangers I have watched Michael Bay knew that that's why he needs to be in charge so he can bring the iconic characters to life the way they should be seen and heard he understands what makes them who they are that's the magic of both franchises I am afraid someone else will loose that and the movies will flop hard as far as the voice actors goes I'd use the original voice actors for all the teams even the actors who are dead now
I prefer a live action Transformers movie set in Cybertron. But since the direction of the new movies are clear. I think borrowing concepts and ideas from Transformers Prime would be wise.

Well there was a plot leak (grain of salt here) that claimed that the main villain, Scourge, will be revealed as Bayverse Optimus Prime, who has fully gone down the dark path he had slowly been taking in each passing film.
For me to stay on with Transformers, the reboot better be all prequels and make it lead up to the events of the Bay-Former Universe and then finally show a final Transformers movie taking place right after The Last Knight and make it as big as Avengers: Endgame with Thanos.
I am willing to take both sides on this and say that I want future Transformers movies with the Bumblebee aesthetic, but I also want a good conclusion to the bayverse movies with Unicron. What I mean in all this is that I'm 100% for a small reboot with Rise of the Beasts following Bumblebee, but I think it would be doable to lead into the final movie picking up from The Last Knight except with the designs featured from Bumblebee with much better writing and Unicron. A good example of what I mean is Rise of Skywalker. The movie was made so people who hated Last Jedi could watch Rise of Walker with few mentions from the previous film, while allowing Last Jedi fans to still follow its connecting story.
I hope they do this justice BUT I would like the powers at be to continue the TRANSFORMERS PRIME storyline and animation . That to me was the damn best ever even over G1 transformers . What are your thought broham??
I really don't give a shit what they do with the Franchise at this stage, as long as they work on the writing at least to the level of Bumblebee, hopefully more though. The Bay movies and all the recent low grade CG animation shows REALLY sapped my enthusiasm for Transformers, and I've been collecting and consuming them since 1984!
I'm excited about it but i hope they make it more to the original than Bay did. Like Bay's Devastator i almost walked out of the theater when I saw that. I was very disappointed

I personally think its a soft reboot due to some of the connections and deleted concepts and tie-in comic showing Megatron in the Hoover Dam. I just know that Paramount has yet to clarify this. I really really don’t like this new direction. And I watched the cartoons as a kid. It’s the Bay movies that I fell in love with. Now just like what happened with the Halo games, they’re changing everything. Because let’s be real. Most people that love the Bay films don’t know the intricacies of the lore, follow the toys, or know how the movies “contradicted themselves” as you said (which, case and point, I don’t know what you mean). I’m disappointed that I’m losing the style and direction that the Bay movies took. The movies I know and love. Like dude. Even if the cartoons were different, it makes sense that an alien race of robotic organisms would look alien like the first forms of the transformers did when they landed on earth in the first movie. Not colorful robots that resemble earthly vehicles. It’s like they’re trying to appeal to children because they literally look like toys now. Not what you would imagine a live action spin to be. Just like every other live action movie based on a cartoon, it’s supposed to show you what it might look like if it was real. This bothers me to no end if you can’t tell lol. Rant over. I believe that the main reason why they chose to go with the tone of bumblebee is because it is the only transformers film that has gotten extremely positive reception, as well as box office success. The bay films kept going on a downward spiral if quality.

I'm a massive fan of transformers always have been since the early 80s. I even got my boys into the G1. We watch Transformers 86 maybe 4 times a year. We drive round banging Stan Bush tracks out. As the years went by I became pissed off with Bay films. But Bumblebee got me hyped for this.
This movie sounds better and better with each video, hope the movie holds up to the hype, as the bay disasters were just bay disasters.

We see that following that scene Optimus is really busted up, with parts hanging off him. What if after that scene Optimus is damaged and Wheeljack has to fix him up with a new alt mode? Said new mode being the Man 8x8!

Now here's your mistake, Unicron was at first supposed to be a singularity back when the Unicorn Trilogy was up and running BUT, so many people hated the idea that a comic was made that showed how Primus himself managed to undo it.
The movies don't necessarily abide by the comic book rules.
And maybe Decepticons such as Astrotrain, could be on Shockwave's side and Seekers on Starscream's.
I wonder if there’s a Transformers storyline similar to Infinity War involving Unicron. I mean he’s the only big bad I can think of that most Transformers (Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons) would all have to be involved in defeating somehow. Just a thought. 🤔🤔
I do understand the complaints of Bayformers designs. Panel forming isn't exactly fun, the toys aren't as durable as they used to be and it takes a while to get screen accurate toy transformation, but Hasbro going back to the G1 designs isn't the greatest idea imo. I understand there are a lot of people that hold a special place in their hearts for G1, but they need to recognize that if they want this franchise to survive, they have to let go. Had it not been for the decisions made by Michael Bay and others at Paramound, the franchise wouldn't be as recognized as it is today even with all its faults.
G1 keeps the franchise alive. People were so happy to see the BBM designs because that’s the first time we ever seen those designs in live action. Yeah Bay made Transformers popular but he also made Transformers a joke.

Yeah, it's cool that fans get nostalgic, but they alone can't keep the franchise alive. People who grew up with the Unicron trilogy, beast Era and later franchises and especially normie audiences don't get the same feelings towards seeing G1 designs. Kids didn't care much about Bee being an old beat up VW Beetle, but they sure as hell went crazy seeing him as a brand new Camaro. Not to mention all the old boomers at the time that were sad about the Camaro being discontinued less than a decade prior to the first movie
@@hafeezhamama9580 Transformers WAS a household name before Bay. It’s an 80s franchise and one of the most popular 80s franchises. It had comic books, video games and toys still coming out. Bay made it more popular YES but G1 kept the franchise stable even after the bay movies ended. G1 sells as it always has. It is the birthplace of the franchise and should be the designs of the films going forward because everyone knows the G1 designs.

It’s new series is a slow burn and isn’t going as fast as it needs to. You can use the G1 designs all you want and still had a mid story. That doesn’t mean G1 isn’t a staple of the franchise and keeps it stable. In the lead up to ROTB and after the BBM what did Hasbro release? The WFC trilogy. Line was so good and selling so well it even has a show on Netflix. So please explain to me how G1 doesn’t keep the franchise stable?
In regards to the Terrorcons: We know they have vehicle modes, we've seen 3. Nightbird, Scourge, and a pickup truck. Though on Scourge we've seen a new crest, which bears resemblance to a Herald of Unicron crest. So, perhaps these Terrorcons are Heralds of Unicron.
I don't think Scourge and Nightbird are Terrorcons. They've never been known to be. What we do know is that Scourge is leading the Terrorcons.

Honestly I really really really hope that the next transformers movie is going to be as great as the first three and honestly I really liked how they designed the characters in the first three movies which I really hope they bring back and make the transformers more bot like than human like in the last few movies
As I mentioned multiple times to make sure people don't get the wrong idea, I don't really mind if Bumblebee or Rise Of The Beasts are indeed reboots. But the thing that messes with my head is Simmons & even Sector 7's inclusion. Unlike Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee, or Starscream; Simmons & Sector 7 were Bayverse concepts. And I find it weird that they would be brought along for the reboots if they truly wanted to distance themselves from the previous films. But who knows, maybe they can Days Of Future Past this film that could be a win for everyone.

I kind of wish they would start the transformers films over with bumblebee, make bumblebee a new start for transformers and leave the bay movies in the past. Make a bumblebee verse and a bay verse. I just want to see transformers move in a good direction and not end up like T5 did.

As a transformer fan who has watched most of the transformers cartoons my favorite ones are the original cartoon and beast wars and transformers prime the only way to do it right would be to combine both original transformers with the beast war transformers so we get to see both iconic teams standing together fighting to save the entire universe against overwhelming odds just when it looks hopeless Primus arrives and bonds to his loyal soldiers the autobots and maximals while unicron bonds with his soldiers the deceptions and perdicons both granting more powerful upgrades ones we haven't seen before in any transformers media transformers has had a powerful impact in my life as the power rangers have both taught me life lessons in their own ways in the versions of transformers and power rangers I have watched Michael Bay knew that that's why he needs to be in charge so he can bring the iconic characters to life the way they should be seen and heard he understands what makes them who they are that's the magic of both franchises I am afraid someone else will loose that and the movies will flop hard as far as the voice actors goes I'd use the original voice actors for all the teams even the actors who are dead now

Well there was a plot leak (grain of salt here) that claimed that the main villain, Scourge, will be revealed as Bayverse Optimus Prime, who has fully gone down the dark path he had slowly been taking in each passing film.
That sounds very similar to the Optimus from Transformers Kingdom.

For me to stay on with Transformers, the reboot better be all prequels and make it lead up to the events of the Bay-Former Universe and then finally show a final Transformers movie taking place right after The Last Knight and make it as big as Avengers: Endgame with Thanos.
I am willing to take both sides on this and say that I want future Transformers movies with the Bumblebee aesthetic, but I also want a good conclusion to the bayverse movies with Unicron. What I mean in all this is that I'm 100% for a small reboot with Rise of the Beasts following Bumblebee, but I think it would be doable to lead into the final movie picking up from The Last Knight except with the designs featured from Bumblebee with much better writing and Unicron. A good example of what I mean is Rise of Skywalker. The movie was made so people who hated Last Jedi could watch Rise of Walker with few mentions from the previous film, while allowing Last Jedi fans to still follow its connecting story.

I really don't give a shit what they do with the Franchise at this stage, as long as they work on the writing at least to the level of Bumblebee, hopefully more though. The Bay movies and all the recent low grade CG animation shows REALLY sapped my enthusiasm for Transformers, and I've been collecting and consuming them since 1984!
bumblebee has been 5 different types of camaro too. 1974, 2007 prototype, 2010 production , black and yellow 69 camaro and a 2013 camaro

I wonder if someone pointed out how 3&4 was a hit, then BB was lower budget so hard to mark as success. Problem with this is as someone talked about in a video; only Bay fans saw 2-5. Maybe a mix of fans saw BB but I garentee it will be mostly G1 fans will see RoTB and in order to do that, they need to say new cinimatic Universe. I see how this is connected to Bayverse but yeah with a few issues, but not horribly. How do you feel the Bay movies horribly contradict themselves? I've watched all 5 recently and believe people forgot what happened and have the idea that the writers didn't look back at previous movies. I was looking forward to RoTB, but I don't know... I think I'm just disappointed the new idea is heavily focus on G1 and possibly BW and how it's a safety net. I know it would have been unlikely that Crosshairs and Drift would be in the movie had the plan been drop the Unicron idea and start with a new story. It's just me liking Charecters that mostly won't come back. Like TFP Knockout, but these two are on the top of the list and the Bayverse section ( if I actually wrote a list 😆) 💔

I really really don’t like this new direction. And I watched the cartoons as a kid. It’s the Bay movies that I fell in love with. Now just like what happened with the Halo games, they’re changing everything. Because let’s be real. Most people that love the Bay films don’t know the intricacies of the lore, follow the toys, or know how the movies “contradicted themselves” as you said (which, case and point, I don’t know what you mean). I’m disappointed that I’m losing the style and direction that the Bay movies took. The movies I know and love. Like dude. Even if the cartoons were different, it makes sense that an alien race of robotic organisms would look alien like the first forms of the transformers did when they landed on earth in the first movie. Not colorful robots that resemble earthly vehicles. It’s like they’re trying to appeal to children because they literally look like toys now. Not what you would imagine a live action spin to be. Just like every other live action movie based on a cartoon, it’s supposed to show you what it might look like if it was real. This bothers me to no end if you can’t tell lol. Rant over. I hope this gets fixed.
