It looks you could use one piece of I-joist for the entire span instead of two. One would be more robust. Was there a reason that you use two? That's some extra work.
Could you have ran the joists long to span the width of your beams..maybe a little longer and not butted them up against each other? Instead of splitting the width for each joist.
I have temporary bracing in place. The basement walls will add a ton of strength and I think I’ve come up with a good system for bracing the other posts.
Diaphragm nailing glued and shot as per manufacturer's protocol... Dude, other than you, who said that LVL and one I Joist constitutes applicable framing for your load bearing wall... Yeah, and as J Shepard below asks... did you need an mid span support for your floor - Do you have Engineered drawings.. Or do you just go around framing stuff...
A comment - check out the "Essential Craftsman" lol- he is a Real Deal Framer" and you... lol You are not a Craftsman! And some of your work is structurally, substandard!
Intro and outro drone footage is great.
Looking forward to the boat dock video.

Wow, that ending drone shot. That'll be some payoff when you're done!
I'm curious. Can you span longer distances with I-joists, versus conventional lumber? Thanks in advance.
Did you space the i-joists 12 or 16 o.c.?
16
No bracing on the columns? What are you doing for wind bracing?

@@buildingsmall8422 I suggest you consult with an engineer.
I thought the concrete piers looked a little wimpy for everything on top of them 🤔
I want to build a house that's 1 mile up river from the gulf
Do it

i really hate i beams. i know they are cheaper and lighter but id never trust them.
They are not cheaper and if installed properly should last a long time.
