My friend in Mumbai works in VFX company that got Oscar for Dune movie last year. They have worked for many big Hollywood movies, even now. Its common to see bunch of Indian names in end credits of most of big Hollywood movies like Marvel series etc. I guess Indian movie makers cant afford them although Hollywood will be paying them lesser than those in USA due to obvious reasons of cost of living etc. Perhaps only Rajamouli can afford and also has knowledge of how to use VFX in good way.

Previously "I" film, Robo, 2.0 are best CGI work at their budget. Even other countries shocked while watching "I" film because of CGI within a low budget, [WETA is Newzealand based company worked for that] Sorry to say this: Rajamouly didn't used the CGI or VFX properly yet. But I watched a tutorial in TH-cam in 2011 and attend a interview. Now I'm working in a major studio that works only for Hollywood movies and webseries only, now I'm having 12+ years of experience in Hollywood VFX field. My suggestion is in which VFX field u want to go 1st find out this. Either 2d animation or 3d or vfx know yourself 1st👍
