What I do before I leave is completely tidy my room because it's really nice to come to a tidy home and plus it means when you get back no work needs to be done so you can rest and get rid of jet lag.

I haven't been on a plane for a few years now but I always write myself a check list for everything! I write two separate lists one for my suitcase and one far my carry on bag and write everything from clothes,skin/beauty products, shoes, books just everything! It helps me to ensure that I have all that I would need and don't miss anything out and just tick it off as I pack it away. Being organised like that also helps me to ensure that all my carry on beauty/makeup items that I would want fit with the strict size regulations as I would cry if I had to throw anything out.
When I go on a plane all I do is wash my hair put it in a high ponytail like normal and later on go to sleep. In the morning I take that ponytail out and my hair is nice and curly (I have REALLY curly blond hair). I brush my teeth and all that and then keep my PJS on for the plain. I don't know it if it different hear in Britain but the planes or not that bad. The only problem is there's always a baby that deeps my family awake!
Ever since my mom learned how to do fishtail braids, she loves to do them on my hair, and I like how they look. I'm going to be using the clips on my high ponytails from now on. Thanks, Amanda!

When I travel anywhere, whether it be on a plane or just driving, and I'm cutting it close on time (or even being late) I try to remember that worrying about the time and constantly looking at the clock will not help. If anything it sparks irrational choices and may cause you to be careless and cause an accident. There is no time machine to change the time you arrive so freaking out about it only makes the trip stressful. On the other hand you can still try to travel as efficiently as possible to your destination but also take time to notice the beautiful scenery around you or the calming music playing :) Stop worrying about making it to an appointment that you will never make in time and spend the energy focusing on what you should do once you get to your destination.

Very helpful! I always use maybelin's mate maker when I'm traveling, cause I have very oily skin, and when you are walking around all day it can get really bad. I just apply it before I apply bb cream. It's seriously the best thing I've ever bought!

Before I go on a big trip I always make a packing list, however before I go on a plane or go to an airport I always need to charge my phone, because you never know when your phone might instantly die and then there goes one part of your entertainment!
Something that I need to do before I go on a plane is verifying my music to see if I have enough music on my cell, because sometimes I have to add like 10 songs XD but music is really important to me, and I love to draw on planes, so music helps :3

Too be honest I think none but if you do want I have just used a little bit of bronzing powder and eyeliner to make it look like you have put an effort but that's my opinion

I've never been on a plane, but pretty much the same thing could be used for those long road trips. Oil blotting sheets are a lifesaver.
