- Round 10, and the final round of #club100 sprint racing for 2023! As is tradition, the racing returned to #BuckmorePark for what would be the Class 2 title decider. A cold and damp day would make for a treacherous tangle with the other drivers, all of whom wanted to end teh year in style.

Great racing all year Tim, very unfortunate for you not to come away with the title but you and Kyle races like gents all year. Fantastic footage as always!
Thanks Tom, regardless of my results, I'd much rather be though of as fair, firm and reasonably quick than reasonably quick... and thats it. I may have to work on that 'reasonably' bit though if I plan on visiting the C1 podium next season.
Unlucky with the P2. A great battle between you and Kyle and it could have gone either way. Looking forward to seeing you mix it in C1 next year 💪

Great video again and really unlucky Tim, both you and Kyle are deserving champions and I don’t think there’s anything to split either of you both really, but you should still feel proud of the P2 and with how good you’ve been this season - you’ve shown this season that you’ll be competitive in C1 with that red plate next year!
Fingers crossed, there’s an added pressure now knowing that it’s not just about being first of the blues. It’ll be good fun though and with the guys that are class 1s it’s a proper yard stick to work with.
Epic video. It's interesting to see that the Insta 360 camera is a bit higher than the GoPro Hero - and hence has a better vantage point for looking backwards.
Thank you, it was fun to make. The thing that has impressed me most about the Insta360 is the stability of the footage; given that some of the nassau panels it has been on since starting to use it have been quite wobbly, you would never know when you get the footage into post.
great racing all season man! at the end you should’ve put the video of Lewis Hamilton post- Abu Dhabi 2021😂😂😂 P2 in the C2 championship is an excellent finish and will only fuel you to gun for that title next season!!💪🏾
From what the regs say, I’ll be moved to Class 1 for next season which is good as I’ll be actively fighting the guys that I’ve been on pace with (mostly) this year. The warning of silverware will become exponentially harder though. It was a shame to come in runner up this year, but Kyle had an awesome end to the season when it mattered and was able to capitalise on heats better than I was throughout the year.
Ah mate, such a shame for you to end the season like that. Believe me your not the only one who ended up with a bitterly disappointing ending, I myself didn't have a good finale as I was hoping to target 11th or 10th for C2 and make the A Final but just fell short of reaching it and the track was wet which made it even more difficult. So I was quite annoyed myself that the season ended from my side tbf.
Also the ending to your video states that from somebody who experienced a different outcome to a huge loss and missing out on the C2 podium back at Lydd, I can only understand your frustration for missing out fro the HW C2 Sprint Title. I made a huge mistake by switching karts before that A Final, but then once I realized how woefully under-powered it was, it was just to late to claw anything back. It took me about 4 to 5 mins to get out of the kart thinking "What the hell did I just do by making that split second decision to switch karts?"
Nothing what you did, you were just a passenger with no where to go and that is the cruel factor of racing unfortunately. BUT, I will tell you something that my father taught me and take this piece of advice onboard with you because it will help you out massively in life. The word FAIL is split into four words and they stand for FIRST. ATTEMPT. IN. LEARNING and whenever something goes wrong, always make sure that whether you make a mistake or not, the best thing is to come clean to it and be honest about it. Even on good days, always think to yourself, "Good job son well done, but right, what can I do better next time round?" and carry that onboard with you going into the next round.
Hope my advice helps you going into next year and your great driver so don't let this experience dimmer your confidence, my line manager told me when I was attempting my forklift lift test, those words were ATTACK. WITH. CONFIDENCE and you will get to that next level.

Thanks, Greg. Indeed, it is the way with racing sometimes, but on reflection it was a very enjoyable season. Now the aim is to avoid the mince pies over christmas before I end-up creating a new weight catagory.
