tyler boucher is genuinely the funniest prospect I've seen. Hes insanely physical. Hes not a bad player in a sense that he doesn't have a role, hes just not skilled. The ottowa senators genuinely wasted a top 10 pick on a 4th liner who never showed any promise of top end talent.
As a Devils fan Luke Hughes has showed a lot of growth defensively this year. He’s killing plays, closing guys off, and his skating ability really plays. I think his lack of points are a combination of rust from returning from injury, getting bumped off of pp1 with Dougie being back, adjusting to a new system, and taking risk out of his game. He will need to get some risk back in his game to start creating offense again, but I’m confident that he will figure it out. It’s only a 10 game sample size.
The Sebastian Cossa reaction killed me 😂. I love our young defencmen and goaltending but I question the forward prospects because I don’t think we have many if not any elite forward prospects.
I think Mailloux should be a solid PP2 two way goalscoring defenseman. A little bit like Brady Skjei but with worse defense. They have the exact same frame and i think Mailloux resembeled similar traits offensively in his pro carrer with his goal scoring. Not a bad pick as a borderline 2nd round pick
As a Panthers fan I really don't know how to feel about Mackie Samoskevich. He's had some flashes with limited ice time; other than that I'm ready to be surprised.
As a sens fan we were rlly hoping guenther would fall. Unfortunately he didn’t and Dorion completely screwed us over. Even if Boucher becomes a 3rd liner that is still horrendous for a 10th overall pick considering who we left on the board.
Not too worried about Mailloux defensive game tbh hes actually really good defensively in the ahl and i understand that he didn’t look super good defensively in the nhl this year but it’s not like anyone is playing well defensively for the Habs haha
Honestly the top 9 are pretty much the consensus top 9 skaters in the draft at the time it was just the order that is pretty uncertain at the time. I think Ottawa would definitely took one of the 9 if they were available especially McTavish and Clarke who were both from Ottawa. There were a lot of buzz for Wallstadt to be drafted to either Detroit or LA but Ottawa was screwed when no one took Wallstadt. I did want them to take either Wallstadt or Cossa but I can understand why Ottawa passed on them bc Gustavsson was looking promising after a 9-game stretch of putting up 5-1-2 with .933 and bc of that they left Daccord exposed in the Kraken expansion draft. Sogaard were also considered a great goalie prospects back then. That being said reaching that high for Boucher should never be excusable bc there were still Raty Lysell Sillinger Johnson Lucius and a ton of other top prospects on the board but for some reason Dorion just sold on DJ Smith so they took the DJ Smith profile of player instead of bpa.
To put Wallsdedt's stats in prospective, the Iowa Wild's D core is absolute ass. Which considering it's made out of our best D prospects outside of Buium, is not good
Dude spent half this video dissing Chibrikov 😂ik u don’t know about lucius, he’s very good but gets insanely injured insanely often so won’t pan out. But when it comes to prospects ahead of him… you can’t mention barlow without mentioning CHIBRIKOV. You can ignore him now but you won’t be soon

Thanasis Hughes is a WILD sneak
good no more high pitch buzzing can enjoy the vids, keep it up mike been watching ur content alot lately
Glad to hear it was gone! Didn't even change anything just was working today lol let's hope it continues.

They need to stop moving Sillinger from C to W every other game.
Kid is a solid center
Edvinson and Cossa are gonna be seen as goated picks. Similar to Miro and Otter in the same draft
The Sebastian Cossa reaction killed me 😂. I love our young defencmen and goaltending but I question the forward prospects because I don’t think we have many if not any elite forward prospects.
Yup outside of Raymond it is THIN when it comes to U-25 forwards, they'll need like 2 of Kasper Danielson and Nygard to turn into HIGH level guys
@@MikeBartnerI’ve seen Brandsegg-Nygard play in Prague, he’s legit. And his shot is elite. I believe he’ll be atleast a 25+40 for 65 points
Amadeus Lombardi is also looking like something. He had a rough one last year, but he's been pretty outstanding this year
thanasis hughes is insane violation 😭
HAHAHAHAHA
Was Joshua Roy not a 2021 draft pick? Also JJ Moser was a pretty decent pick
Damn skipped pased him!
@ Roy was 5th round so I forgive you lol. I didn't even see his name while you were scrolling
Luke Hughes’ point production is way down but he’s been extremely sharp defensively this season
been trying to tell people about cossa. the casuals need to stop sleeping on him like even his .913 last season was solid
Yea I had him as I think like my #6 goalie prospect after last years bounceback
Chibrikov in the second round was pretty solid pick
Chaz Lucius has had a number of surgeries but is highly skilled forward. He will make the Jets if he can get past the injury bug.
Aatu Räty has been great on AHL. He's going to grow into solid NHL player.
😂😂 damn son you are so delusional, he’s and ahler.. thats it

Thanasis Hughes is egregious 😭😭
I'd definitely watch if you went like that through this year's draft prospects
Raty is actually doing decent at the NHL level. He is bouncing in between the NHL and AHL but has looked pretty good.
As a Panthers fan I really don't know how to feel about Mackie Samoskevich. He's had some flashes with limited ice time; other than that I'm ready to be surprised.
Might need to go back to the AHL and get more seasoned
JJ Moser is pretty solid too
Definitely a steal

Dorion masterclass draft
I’m literally praying for Cossa he’s just what Detroit needs (my dad’s a wings fan and he needs success)
Smart guy puts his face over all the stats 😂😂
Blud you can see the points there

I was about to say there was a typo because on the noti it said 2022 Draft 3.5 years later I was so confused but you fixed it
HAHAHAHAHAHA yup caught it instantly
Thanasis hughes is doing him dirty 🤣
Goalies on average take like 5-7 years to fully develop how can you say you almost gave up on cossa😭
Forgot Joshua Roy
What is the point when you don't actually know anything about the players?
8:04 Not moved. Devin Cooley has a .954
HAHAHAHAHHA valid
To put Wallsdedt's stats in prospective, the Iowa Wild's D core is absolute ass. Which considering it's made out of our best D prospects outside of Buium, is not good
Fair fair but those numbers are a tad concerning
You forgot JJ Moser
You missed Tomas Machu 🙄
love you mikey

JJ moser in the 2nd total steal
STEAL as well
Flyers goalie prospects clear Deteiotz
Luke Hughes is my favarite
I wish the Oilers took Wyatt Johnston
Why do you hate the Barrie Colts ?
Joshua Roy
U don't doubt stevie y I've told you many times brother
Yes, and Lafrenière was a bust ? lol😂
JJ mosser
Don’t skip over Samu tuomalla. AHL beast last 2 years Philly should def call him up soon
