If he was arrested then he wasnt able to do order 66 which means asoka tano would have come back with maul in custody and maul would confess that palpatine is a sith lord!
There isn’t much of a reason to trust maul considering his past crimes but honestly it could go either way
Maul has no prove of Palpatine being a sith, or commiting crimes, he would also not be trusted.

Sith lords have developed ways to hide the dark side from the Jedi, it would stand to reason that they can hide that as well. Especially if it's Palpatine doing it. I'm talking about force sensing block on galactic scale, to stop the Jedi from reacting fast enough.
I think they would’ve put 2+2 together and figured out that Palpatine was behind the assassination attempts on Padme’s life, she also would’ve been present during the trial and most likely have spoken up
there were also at least 2000 senators in office who were suspicious of Palpatine’s doings
What if Plagus and Sidious used the force to manipulate the medichorians in Grevious so he would be force sensitive before becoming a cyborg.

Great story! Yet another example of how the jedi became obsessed with politics. Mace was right in the movie saying "he's to dangerous to be kept alive". Sidious was evil and needed to die right then and there. Also, the ending is GENIUS. Palpatine always intended for Padme to die and if she lived, he wouldn't have been deep in the dark side. It's such a Palpatine thing to do to get Maul to fight Anakin and use him as a pawn to kill Padme. Putting the blame on Maul and off Sidious.

What if Anakin had realized in time that Palpatine was behind all the torment he was going through? How could he have noticed?
No way Padme misses Palpatine's trial so she would know Palpatine just called for all Jedi and would have went to the temple to save anakin. They did a good job of fixing Padme's character in the clone wars show she's not so foolish so I don't know if she believes all Anakin says after watching the clones fire on Jedi right in front of her

If he was a Sith Lord, he would be a big problem! There is a reason Plagues and Palpatine never tried and eventually turned Dooku and not Windu! Windu was younger than Dooku with more potential. It had to be clear, that Plagues and Palpatine sensed the dark side in Windu just like Anakin. The problem with Windu versus Maul, Anakin or Dooku was his mentality and certain powers. Windu couldn't be manipulated like these guys! That is something Sidious did to Maul, Anakin and Dooku with easy. They trusted him so easily. Windu wouldn't trust Palpatine like that. Especially with his shatter point ability. Windu powers, if he embraced the dark side, would be immense. Palpatine could never feel comfortable around him as his apprentice. Windu wouldn't wait to kill him. He would be trying to kill him right away.

If grievous would escape, the jedi would not arrest Palpatine and so no order 66. But interesting theory, maybe Palpatine would then make it so that anakin can hunt him down next time.

Okay, I know I don't know much about criminal investigations, but this one was horrendously done.
First of all, the crime scene must be secured! Second of all, a warrant is unnecessary in the freedom of the US if there is valid evidence that exigent circumstances are in play.
Forensics, digital and not are very thorough.
Palpatine is significantly force-sensitive, a midichlorian test could prove that.
I'm afraid I dislike this one because the Jedi should be more familiar with investigating crime THIS late into the story!

Even before, he did resist for a short time, and a handful of Commandos refused Order 66 (Granted, the Commandos didn’t have the Chips, and a few other Arc Troopers refused Order 66
I can picture the sequel where Ahsoka Tano meets with Anakin and tries to turn him back to the Light
Honestly part 2 of this would be nice even tho I can pretty much see how it plays kinda into the what if anakin became emperor parts you have made but loved the video none the less

In my opinion, the fact that all master drop like flies is not realistic, i also think that a majority of the council (or all Alive members ) would go back to the temple and not go hidding while everybody was dying in the temple

Here's a "what if" question I've never seen addressed: What if Anakin had been discovered by the Jedi Order as an infant, and what if, after ten or so years of being raised in the Jedi Temple, he had been chosen to be Plo Koon's Padawan? My answer is: he would never have lost his arm, would never have turned to the Dark Side, and, once he reached his full potential (probably in his mid- to late-20s), would have squashed Sidious like a grape.

Before watching the video: the biggest issue is actually proving his crimes. For now all they got is Anakin's testimony, and their belief, but no hard proof. Also even if he is a Sith lord i am not sure, that the Republic has laws simply against that. Without proving, that he is Sidius they got nothing on him. Which would cause uproar against the Jedi. After that not sure. If Palpatine gets on trial he might manipulate the judges, and turn them against the jedi. Making the jedi traitor in front of the entire Republic would make order 66, and eliminating them even easier, and then. It is basically same as in the movies.
After watching the video: yeah quite close to my prediction. At least to the point of killing the jedi. Saving Padme for the first time was a bit of surprise as it was one of the biggest RAGE of Anakin to lose her, but somewhat understandable. He has done everything that was asked, and thus Sidius would lose Anakin, if Padme dies in labor. However he still needed Padme to die on order to fuel Anakin's rage, and prevent her influence in pulling Anakin toward the light. Using Maul was a good idea for this as he was trained to be an assassin. Would Anakin eventually betray Sidius? Almost certainly. It is the way of the Sith after all.

@tdmaster1904 no I was thinking if she went in time when anakin was still a kid before qui gon found him (no darkside ahsoka) so that anakin had time to grow up as ahsoka being her master
If you think about it, Palpatine was kind of dumb to even fight the jedi and risk getting killed. He could have just let himself get arrested and let that be prove that the jedi act against the constitution and execute them. The only problem would be that he wouldn't get anakin immediately, but as you showed in the video, he would have made it anyway on long term.
