OMG please do a whole series on La Mano Peluda and Juan Ramons death! It's such an iconic show. Juan Ramons assistentes kept the radio show going after he died. It's called El Fantasma Errante.
His death was wild cause he was killed by a caller who he helped years earlier (CRAZIEST STORY EVER)

I believe in the scary stories that are told in Mexico because Mexico is a different setting . They are more open to the supernatural and are more religious .
They are more open to letting demons and contacting demons. If you notice, a lot of religious and witch craft kinda correlate together. I had a gf who was catholic but would also do cleansing? She beloved in god but she would wear mal ojo 👁️. Yeah those to don’t mix like oil and water
Yeah and partly because a lot of Mexico actually believe that a lot of these cleansing, duendes, brujas, etc exists. I think the reason that there is so many haunting they are in fear a lot. The devil likes when you fear something making it much more real. Also cleanses, which is really abundant in Mexico and now lots of North America, end up opening doors for spirits to be welcomed in. The eggs probably act as a conduit. Giving non living things power to do something is witchcraft in itself.
Another thing that a lot of Mexicans wear which I know personally is mal ojo. Which is just an all seeing eye. Again giving a no living thing more power gives way for things to enter into people’s lives. Sorry I know I’m ranting but I know my family and exs I’ve had, do stuff like this and their life is very spiritually difficult.
I’m from fortworth born and raised here in the south side area I seen this entity when I was 5 in 99 I know it because my mom tells me that’s when I told them a gorilla hand with big claws was athe the window right above me parents bed I was top bunk bed my younger brother was bottom I woke up I remember hearing taking on the window that’s when I seen a big ape like hand outside the sun was jst coming out this thing would open and close the curtains rapidly I couldn’t move I later learned about la Mano peluda when I was a teen by the way my parents and younger brother were asleep

I’ve never heard of this show! I need to look around and see if there are any recordings anywhere. It sounds a lot like the Art Bell show, or Coast to Coast. They are also full of weird stories and guests that no one really knows if they were for real. I love that shit!

I’m starting to think La Mano peluda was scripted, I used to listen to religiously when I was a kid, every person that called in sounded the same, on the verge of tears and crazy stuff would happen while being on the phone. Idk, it was all entertaining at the end of the day, go listen to “el caso de josue” the actual audio, this is the one that always had me thinking.
