Tackling Gender-Based Violence in the Energy Access Ecosystem, Project Implementation

As part of the #16DaysOfActivism Campaign against Gender-Based Violence, the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) is hosting this special episode of The REA Power Chat. This is part of the agency’s advocacy on gender mainstreaming and its inclusive approach in the implementation of the Nigeria Electrification project (NEP). This episode will explore the pressing issue of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), especially within the context of project implementation. Highlighting the impact of the NEP’s approach to the prevention of GBV, expert panelists will share insights on challenges, opportunities, and actionable strategies for creating inclusive, safe, and equitable environments within workspaces and on the field while fostering gender-responsive initiatives.
