That was some awesome advise you gave. I no longer work behind the chair and really do miss it. But I love the advise, showing your customers some great ideas to do on themselves or their kids and so on. Beautiful hair style also. Sharing with your customer some tricks and ideas will keep them coming back. I have always said you can be a so so hairstylist but if you have the personality they'll keep coming back. It's a personal experience for people and once they find someone they like they'll stay.
My go to videos when on get on TH-cam.... Sam villa!! I always learn new things and implement them at work! I'm just 7 months behind the chair and I just need all the education I can get, so thank you for these videos.
Very new to your tutorials. So easy to follow and fabulous ideas. Really appreciate your teaching style! Thank you... will be wearing this to the Salon tomorrow.
This was amazing, i would have never guessed it was knots that made such an intricate design. I too love the show and am in awe of all the hairstyles I've seen (and costume designs when they are being worn lol). Then again, hair is the first thing i notice in whatever i see. Thank you for teaching us. Im going to do this on my daughter 8)
bookwrm4evr Incredible, right? Sometimes, it's the simple things that create beauty! Thanks for watching and I'm sure the styles you are recreating on your daughter look great!
I absolutely adore you! Your rhythm can make all the difference and it gets stuck in your head forever!!!Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent!!!!!
Maria Heavener Absolutly correct! When you lose the rhythm, you lose the braid. You can create your own method for keeping the rhythm, but once you get that braiding will become so simple! Thanks for your comment :)
Absolutely brilliant!, I love it. Thank you for giving me back my passion for up dos, I lost my way a little but since watching your videos I have confidence in my ability again. Xx
Wow. I have very long and thick hair, but I've never been able to do knotted hairstyles. Braids are fine, and even then difficult, because knots will form while braiding. I'm going to try your technique though, it seems to keep the other hair out of the knots quite well.
If possible, would you mind doing a video on how you prepared the hair for this beautiful braid? I read the blog post for this hairstyle but did not see any prep. directions for this braid. Unclear how to use the flat iron to prep for this style. Thank-You for all of your wonderful videos!
hola Sam espero que able Espanol yo soy estilista y lo soy por 21 y no me gusta aregler mujere pero desde que estoy Mando run video ya si me gusta areglar mujere gracias ati tu me me inspira
Sam, I subscribed a minute ago. Your channel seems to be an excellent resource even for us braiders without professional education working on ourselves!! If you could do more Khaleesi hair-dos I would be thrilled. Her braids vary every GoT season. I love the first season (Dothraki style) most, they look most difficult. I twould be so great if you showed your take on it! Thank you for sharing your knowledge on TH-cam!!
That is so beautiful! How can I do that style on myself? After watching I'm fairly sure I can do it on someone else but when I try it on me, I can't quite get the knots right.
I absolutely adore this! I'm desperate to get my hands on your texture iron, but unfortunately I can not find any way to get one from here in Australia. Please make shipping available to us?
hi Sam, love your videos. love and respect from India. I've got really long and thick hair till my waist, could you please make a video on a suitable hairstyle.
Excellent way to add value to your clients arsenal AND keep them loyal. I've said this for years and its great to see you doing it. Plus its another way for stylists to keep their skills sharp, increase the creativity factor and inspire your clients. I'm going to post this video in www.Facebook.com/groups/goingray.lovinit Thanks so much.
twominutetips Thanks so much for your comment! I feel like value has been lost in today's world and we strongly believe at Sam Villa that it's time to bring value back to the salon by going the extra mile for our guests. This is what will grow our business. Thanks again for watching and we also appreciate you sharing with the group on Facebook. Hugs!
My hair is much longer than the models so it didn't look very good when I tucked it underneath, so I was wondering do u think it would look alright if I left it going down my back??
If you want damage free texture for decorative braids, try putting your hair in small loose braids, 6-8 before you sleep. Pull them out and brush them with a boar bristle brush. Texture without heat.
+Florensia Garner In many of his videos he crimps the model's hair with a very small crimper! It adds that texture and fullness. It also makes the hair 'grip' itself so it stays together well!
I actually tried to do this on my own but being unable to see the back of my head it was a little difficult specially the first time, second and third time around it was much easier but still of course it didn't look as pretty as this one
Love that you're trying these on your own! These braids are more on the difficult side -- much easier to do on someone else. Thanks for watching. We love that you're giving them a go :)
I like the technique a lot but I don't like the look of texture iron in the hair. I understand it gives the hair more staying power, especially on finer hair texture, but I find it aesthetically unappealing. Very imaginative technique though!
I love it! Thank you!
I love braiding. I am so thankful to my aunt who taught me how to french braid at 10yrs and I have been braiding my own hair since!!!

Sam I have a doubt : can this procedure of knot the hair damage it? Weaken the hair? I have this fear. True or false?

Her hair has a texture, that makes her hair look thick. How did you do that?
+Florensia Garner In many of his videos he crimps the model's hair with a very small crimper! It adds that texture and fullness. It also makes the hair 'grip' itself so it stays together well!

Does that lady's hair look really fake or is it just me...
You're right
This is impossible to do! Hair becomes a complete mess! And you could have been more gentle to the lady's hair.
samvilla u realy very good hair stylist
