You couldn't believe your ears. Yes in the Pentatonix world they can do about everything with that golden voices. And you are right Kevin is astounding. Plays the violin, beatbox, has a tenor voice and invented cello boxing ( beatboxing while playing cello). Yep, that's another Mitch-slap! There's also some rapping in Can't Hold Us and Thriftshop - both Mackemore and Ryan Lewis covers. And I know Mitch does some rapping in some Superfruit episodes, but I'm not familiar enough with them to give the titles - I'll bet someone else knows what they are.
Hoping you do their cover of Kiiara's Gold! If you aren't familiar with her original, I would recommend watching hers first then react to PTX's version. It is so good!

For more rapping check out 'Can't Hold Us', 'Thrift Shop', 'Gold' - this one Kiiara had to use a lot of synth and studio modifications to get her vocals to sound the way that they do and Mitch can pull it off with just his natural voice! The opening us misleading. While Kevin is doing the actual beatboxing part, it's Avi doing the bass part. They don't picture him doing it because they were waiting to show him doing his "listen to me" (which some people have used as their ringtone, from what I've heard). If an author were to write a novel about a small a cappella singing group that takes the world by storm, the editors might have some problems with the incredible vocal ranges - a contratenor with a range greater than six octaves? a basso profundo who sings tenor, not to mention that he also does overtone singing? a baritone who sings both tenor and bass? a "mezzo soprano" who sings all the way from low alto to coloratura soprano (and let's not forget the whistle notes)? Aaagh!!! It strains the imagination, but it's just barely possible so yes, you can have all those - better call the woman an "alto soprano," though - mezzo is inaccurate. But we need to have a talk about this beatboxer dude you've made up. He graduated from Yale with a premed major but then he decided to become a professional beatboxer instead of going to medical school? AND he speaks five languages, including Mandarin? AND he performed at Carnegie Hall twice when he was a teenager, on two different instruments? AND he sings? AND he beatboxes while playing the cello? Nope. No way. That just makes the whole story totally unbelievable. You'll have to come up with someone a bit more plausible.
I give that dude all the credit. Beatboxer, cellist, saxophonist, rapper, singer, pre-med at Yale when the band grabbed him up.
