I believed that with grasshopper it was possible to do this and other similar projects in a parametric way. After seeing this, after several years of experience in Rhino, I now do everything in Blender. I am grateful to Architecture Topic. It's my favorite.
Wow! This unlocks the new horizon. Please make more tutorials like these. Now my question is Can we apply greyscale image in weight paint mode? This will be even more precise in such use cases of facade modeling.
Hi is it possible to apply these shape keys with vertex weight proximity modifier or dynamic paint so that the facade can react when I move an object near to it?
Maybe with the tessellate, or even using geometry nodes, blender usually gives you many ways to achieve anything, still you need to compare which one is faster and easier to modify.
I have no experience in blender and no knowledge in it, how can I start learning and working on it? I am studying mechanical engineering (1st year) and want to make my own designs of jets, cars, buildings, etc.
Hi buddy, first of all I would recommend taking a look at SOLIDWORKS solidworks.com it's more suited for your field of study, and although its paid comparing to free blender, I think there's a free student licence you can start with. for blender start up tutorials you can check those: CrossMind Studio th-cam.com/video/At9qW8ivJ4Q/w-d-xo.html Donut for beginners ( blender guru) th-cam.com/video/nIoXOplUvAw/w-d-xo.html And many other amazing videos online to start your blender journey. Blender is really fun and easy to use if you're entering the 3D world, so have fun with it. Wish you the best
@@architecturetopics I have downloaded blender in my laptop and used it for while. When i render for a image, laptop became so much heat that i haven't seen that much amount of heat from my laptop before, is it safe to use blender in my laptop? Specifications:RTX 3050, 16 GB RAM, Dell Inspiron 15 plus laptop
@@d.j.lokeshdinakaran5903 Heat can be caused by a number of reasons, try to keep the blender version on latest update, and render on GPU. You can also make a custom battery mode and put the usag on 85% so blender don't drain your Cpu. try to clean your cache and Temporary RAM before render. @@architecturetopics Thank you very much, you are my favourite man, i changed all those settings and now it's running smoothly, little bit of warm, thank you..... Honestly i decided not to do anything with blender because of the heat produced in my lap but now i again got motivation.....

One of the best blender channel exist in the planet
You're the best man Thanks.
This is the most amazing channel omg i love all of your tutorials .
Really glad you like the channel Thanks 💙
These tuts are so creative. Everyone makes routine modelling tuts. But you make difficult ones and skilled ones. Thanks you for these
Appreciate it man,Thanks.
OMG, this tutorial is an eye opening. I love you!
Thanks💙
its lovely to see you sharing your knowledge with us
hope you get good things coming with all that goodwill
Thanks! glad it helps
u are the best ❤️❤️ i wish u continue in this parametric tutorials
Thanks mate! will try to do more of those videos.
Another hit. Thank you very much.
Thanks mate!
You're a legend
Çok faydalı ve verimli bir ders olmuş, elinize emeğinize sağlık. 👍✌🙌👏
Very well done. Thank you for this tutorial.
omy g blender, amazing !
Thanks mate!

Thanks mate! Will try to do more for sure. Applying a map in the weight paint, maybe you can using Dynamic weight Paint.
This is amazing
Thanks mate
looks easy then 3ds max. thanks for video mate.
Glad you like it!
damn !!very good!!!!!! thank you
Wonderful
Thank you
Amazing 👍👍
Thank you!
Great video! I am looking for suggestion how to bend the mesh around a square building?
Can I use a wave modifier or an ocean modifier to give it some movement?
top-notch🔥
Absolutely fantastic tutorial! Please do more from zaha hadid! Love it!

😍😍😍😍
génial !
Great Jop love your tutorials. A quick question can you use for this process tisue addon?

How would you go about animating the facade opening and closing? (If at all possible)
would like to know the same thing
This is so awsome!! Is it also possible to make a tutorial on this with geo nodes? :)
Thanks mate, I didn't try it with Geometry nodes but the concept is doable, so yeah I think you can make it using geo-nodes.
Hmmm. I choose the 3 vetices and create the Vertex group but when I hit "assign" it does not assign it. Any ideas why?
I'm having troubles scaling the faces from individual origins, it seems to be just scaling from the objects origin. Please help
Had the same issue - you need to deselect Auto Merge Vertices in Edit-Mode before joining the triangles in Object Mode - worked for me :)
Can’t you just use the tissue add on to create the facade?
hi, can these parametric works be used in real works like in Rhino? Can I get CNC printouts?

This kind of building in Abu Dhabi
blender already and better than rhino in parametric objects, so much so that I've given up on it.
