It took Andy Reid to bring out his greatness, and it also took Alex Smith to teach him how to be a pro quarterback. We are witnessing the best of the best of the best...and he is the most likable superstar of all time. Yes, he does have a funny, "Kermit the frog" voice, but that just makes him more endearing.

What to me is underrated is, Patrick Mahomes prove he can be a pocket passer, a game manager, a traditional QB and still be better than anyone. Many people just think he is a magician who makes crazy throw, yet little give credit to his elite awareness, vision, preparation, accuracy and intelligence. This year prove he is not capable of carrying a subpar team and leading them to a Super Bowl. That’s what greatness is.

Mahomes is like the wow play ability and arm talent of Aaron Rodgers, the leadership of Manning and Brady, the awareness of Manning and Brady (you can’t do the weird, how the eff did he find that guy plays at his ridiculously consistent clip without absolutely knowing what is going on over the entire field), and almost the pre and post snap brain of Peyton and Tom. I wanted to hate him and write him off as a flash in the pan when he threw 50 tds his first year starting, but you can’t watch him play and, honestly, have that feeling. Eventually Kelce will retire and that will be a big problem for Chiefs offense but as we saw this year they can move the ball on the ground, too... and you know Mahomes will cook up some magic if you get him to the big game.

I really enjoyed the video, but to be completely honest it is unforgiveable that you did not say Brett Favre's name correctly at 11:51. He is a hall of fame quarterback so learn how to say his name properly :) He is such a legend you can even google "How to say Brett Favre" and it will pronounce it for you.
Keeping him in the pocket is absolutely not the game-plan teams have. Literally one of his biggest weaknesses is flushing himself from the pocket too early. The plan is to flush him in a direction you have good coverage on and hope he doesn't make a freak throw across to the other side of the field.
Not sure where you’re getting that info, the blitz rate against him has dropped from the previous year every year he has started down to now one of the lowest in the league because his passer rating is the highest of any active QB vs. the blitz at 111.7 and 116.5 when teams send 5+. Obviously some credit goes to scheme of the offense and Andy Reid but what you said is pretty objectively false. He’s one of the lowest in pressure to sack rate.
Mahomes is ALREADY the GOAT. Brady trails him in everything that is not directly tied to longevity. You can also just watch the film. Mahnmoes CREATES far more than Brady ever could. Mahomes is a FAR better runner than Brady. One cannot ignore running skills when comparing great QBs. Mahomes has done historic things with his legs more than once. He does everything Brady did and then adds these other elements that simply are not part of Brady;s skill set.
