Fellow metalhead here. Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point. Part 2 is "Boca"! 🤘😊🤘

dreamcatcher \:D/ scream is part 1 of the dystopia trilogy which is a criticism of the internet/social media. as you might have already picked up, scream addresses online hate. there's a bunch of imagery helps convey the theme but that would take too long to go through in a single comment :D. part 2 is boca, and part 3 is odd eye. as people may have already noted, dreamcatcher continually blends different genres into their music and scream is their version of edm/rock. happy new year and may you and your family catch all your dreams ;)

Yes yes yes! Dreamcatcher and Pixy!! Pixy had three songs on the top 100 chart recently, all at the same time! Addicted ran out of time before it reached #1, but Bewitched is at #3 with two weeks left, and Moonlight is in there somewhere still as well. They're an extremely talented but sadly underappreciated group! Personally, they're right up there beside Dreamcatcher.

The EDM genre they use is psytrance :) Scream came about because of Silent Night’s success.
