  • Jim Roppel, founder of Roppel Capital Management, returns as a guest to share more lessons learned from over 30 years of following Bill O’Neil. Finding true market leaders is his passion and Jim makes sure he focuses on liquidity to find stocks that will have the stamina for big moves. He shares a few stocks he's watching right not like Cloudflare (NET), Dexcom (DXCM), Zoom Video (ZM) and Coinbase (COIN). For the video version, show notes and charts, visit investors.com/podcast.

Love the passion from Jim!! Reminds me of when I sold SBUX back in 98 for a 200 profit, I had conviction and perspective and a runway but I needed the cash.

Any CANSLIM folks out there thinking about joining Jim's mentorship, I highly recommend. Give it a month or so and you will find yourself thinking like Jim and analysing stocks like him. Jim's energy and optimism alone is enough to really push you to the next level!

What was your biggest takeaway from Jim’s mentorship?

@@dwn3258 honestly for me it's being an optimist, I used to always fear the worst in the market and Jim has made me believe in myself and the system, give a stock every opportunity to succeed. Other than that it's being super selective in the stocks I buy, only top quality. Analysising charts to really spot leadership and accumulation. It's mostly stuff I "knew" but never really saw implemented properly. The market sucks right now but I'm as optimistic as I've ever been and I've learned to spot and go straight to the leaders when the market does turn up.

@@jaysteve4442 He does a prerecorded video once a week where he covers the market and also answers members questions that email in. Then once a month it is a live video and he also sends out pdf notes once or twice a week at least.
