Magic Kingdom! NEW Spring Popcorn, Tom Sawyer Island's Secret Spaces, Heat Wave & LOW Crowds!

- It's a fun day at Disney's Magic Kingdom enjoying spring 2024! We try the new spring popcorn concoction from the Main Street Confectionary, enjoy a hub grass picnic, some wonderful performances by the Main Street Philharmonic, and spend time exploring the tucked away gems at Tom Sawyer Island, where this is SO MUCH more to explore than meets the eye! Caves, bridges, a fort and more! We take in beautiful views of the Magic Kingdom, see the surprisingly low crowds as spring break seems to take a reprieve, the Dapper DAns and Main Street Philharmonic, and check out snacks, new merchandise and more! Enjoy the lovely day with me in the sparkling sunshine, on a day that was supposed to present a cold front, but ends up being a heat wave instead!

Did you know that there use to be a water fountain inside the tiki room theater they removed it during the tiki room under new management and it's been long gone ever since.

Tom Sawyer island looks so nice and alot like our Tennessee home😊 On vacations we like to ride rides, but after i move down there in 2026, I plan to explore there😊. This was a goid tour around. Lots of fun😊 thanks for sharing. Be Safe Take Care 😊❤
Totally! U know I show riding rides a lot too, but I love being able to show new things around the parks and the more hidden details that hardly anyone else shows! It helps people to plan to be able to not miss those things when they come visit! When you move down, I hope you can enjoy lots of happy relaxing afternoons strolling around the parks. Honestly I’m happy just hearing the music and sounds! 💕💕💕

Tom Sawyer Island is so underrated! A few years ago we set out to do a few things we’d never done at Magic Kingdom, and we wound up spending almost two hours just running around playing tag in the caves like the children we are 😂 Sorry that you missed out on the barrel bridge, but the dole whip looked like a nice consolation prize haha love the stability on the new camera! 📸

My favorite is Magic Kingdom. But this video made me feel better because the allergy doctor cleaned my ears out, and it’s so loud and it’s like a vacuum.

Oh how jealous am i? But with crowds that low what where the wait times? Id have been getting on as much as possible.
I think whenever i go back id definitely be trying after Spring break rather than before.

Hey Ms Jackie. One reason why the crowds are a bit lower is the pixie dust passholders are blocked out til April 1 🙋♂️
April 1st is going to be a madhouse!!
It's weird though because they've been blocked out for other high crowd times in the past! And it's only one small group of passholders, I wouldn't think they alone would make that big of a difference. But maybe there are more passholders this year than in past years.

Hey super Enthused really like and love 💗😘💗 the best Disney Hollywood studio is my most favorites place to visit and enjoy Disney parade this year is my birthday 🎈🎂🎈 today I been running Disney Hollywood studio today it runs to my own first parents I am the in parade floats company I work with them making it through Disneyland and Disney Orlando this is my journey to explore new countries and state I do had my own private jet plane I am a polite I can drive a jet plane this is Jenna Dabao had fun this month

What a fun day! You can spend so long over on the Island, so much to see, play, and do. That's one bonus to living in FL. You can just go to the park and focus on one thing then leave.

I visited the island back in the 70s when i was just a kid and had read the Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn books in school. Was magical then, even in the Florida heat, and glad to know it is mostly still there. Thanks for sharing your day with us!
So Tiana‘s is looking so nice. I love all the greenery. It’s so weird how some days the crowd can be so thick and then some days there’s not that many people at the parks. I guess you just never know. I have never been to Tom Sawyer’s Island, I need to go next time I’m there. I lived in Orlando, I would go just to people watch. I just don’t know if I could deal with the heat…. 😬😬😬 whenever I go, I always stay at the resort and I have to take transportation to the parks. If I live there, it would be a whole different story.

I did a one day solo trip in Oct 23 and I spent about 2 hours of it exploring all of Tom Sawyer's Island, riding the river boat - The barrel bridge wasn't even out in the water when I was there, so maybe it's close to coming back? It was such a wonderful way to spend a few hours.
10 years for Festival of Fantasy! I just was thinking about that the other day and that it was around a while. I think Disney needs to bring about a new parade now. It's time.
Yea I agree. It’s a beautiful parade and people still love it. But it’s def due for an upgrade soon!
It's crazy that in my 50s, I haven't done Tom Sawyer's Island since I was little. I think it's time that I do it again soon!

Honestly I have never went to the Tom Sawyer Island before.
It’s kind of a weirdly hidden gem, and it closes early so a lot of people miss it. It’s so cool in there and there’s so much!!
The rivers of America are like 3 feet deep that’s it. Although people have drowned in less water. A few years ago some pranksters tried to swim the rivers at night in California and got lost because no lights at night, they drowned because they got stupid and exhausted themselves. The park staff found them in the morning floating there. The police concluded it was accidental. Although now Disney land has security patrols every night and keep people out of the park at night. Not extended parties or events of course but regular days.
Jackie, I love ❤ your videos. They are my go to when I need Disney content. You have a minimum of opinions, sour grapes, or commentary, which I prefer. On top of that you have really good and extensive shots of the parks themselves. I get a real sense of being there in the parks. I wanted to post this in support of your work. Great video that brought back so many memories. We decided to do Sawyer Island on our last day, having never done it before and had a blast. I also became addicted to the 'I Lava you floats' during our stay 😋. So good. Needless to say, this video hit all the buttons for me 😁👍

Yea I remember when they drain it, it’s so shallow! I’ve shown it drained in videos in the past, but it was a few years ago. I don’t know why I always wonder how shallow it is when I’ve seen it lol!!! 😂 it’s just one of those weird things that doesn’t sink in!

OK I don't mean to be rude, and this is not my biggest take away from this video lol :-) however I was just curious, are you not allowed to feed the ducks? Just wondering!
Haha no worries, and it’s a fair question because everyone does it, but no you’re not supposed to. It makes them dependent on getting fed by humans, it draws too many birds and then there isn’t enough food for them all, and also the super sugary and salty theme park isn’t great for them. I know there are more reasons too, but we’re not supposed to feed them, no matter how much they quack 😂😂😂
As much as I LOVE Tom Sawyers island… I wish they’d gut it and make something new there. I have SO many memories of running around there as a kid, but I took our kids there last week on spring break and they were laughing at how old and weird things looked and bored after 10 mins.
