Upgraded to this drone from a crappy Sharper Immage Drone. Still getting the hang of flying it. First couple of take off attempts it erraticaly took off to the left crashing into a bush. Eventually it got flying but ended up going in a large circle & crashing into a garage door a few houses down the street. Thankfuly no seirous damages to the drone or the garage door. Think this may be a trim or autopilot issue. Maybe an issue with the GPS signal also.
@@RCEscape I figured as much. Based on the directions I pointed both sticks down at a 45 degree angle which seemed to unlock the motors for the first flight. Any advice how to correct this?
Thanks, I feel ready to fire mine up and get it airborne now. The winds are going to be 20 mph + for the next few days so that may ground us. A tip that I do for all my SD cards (cameras especially) is to use the computer's text editor and put my contact info on the screen. Take a .jpeg of the screen and save BOTH the pic (Owner.jpeg) and Owner.txt to the root of the DS card. If an honest person finds your equipment you stand a decent chance of getting it back. Just a tip in case it is helpful to someone. Am attempting formatting a 128 GB card to Fat 32, Microsoft won't allow it even using PowerShell deep format.

I believe it is over 250grams with the battery so you need to register yourself and put your registration number on the drone. You don't register the drone itself if you fly recreationally.

Hello I just got mine but is not working maybe I'm doing something wrong. After calibration and all that white and blue lights just flash and can't get it to fly. Any advise?
When i successfully complete step 2 of compass calibration the front leds are solid white and red and the rear leds are solid blue and red. When I perform step 3 and place the drone on the ground.the leds (front and back) start flashing again. I've tried this in several locations with the same results. What is going on?
It is trying to acquire the necessary gps satellites. Take it outside and wait until the lights go solid. Calibrate the gyros and then you are good to go.

Very helpful review. Thanks. I'm thinking about buying this one as my first drone. I was particularly interested in the "RTH Altitude" setting that I suspected was part of the package and this video actually showed the setting in the app. Very nice. I'm also curious about how these inexpensive drones handle flying out-of-sight (like over a slight rise or behind trees) as far as wifi connectivity goes.
Be aware snaptain customer service is virtually nonexistent if you have an issue your on your own. No phone number and contacting them through their Facebook page or email....as they recommended...has gotten me no where after a week and a half. Do be pulled in by theses reviews do your homework go to their Facebook page and read the comments no one ever mentions they got help. Just trying to be helpful to others who maybe like me took that for granted when I saw the great TH-cam videos reviewing the drone

The anti-vibration effect of the camera is the same as that of the same model. The video will float, and the video will obviously float, but the speed of flying at high speed is too slow, and the wind resistance is greatly reduced. It is suspected that it is an OEM machine. It is not recommended to buy a styling machine with a failure.

It is a calibration issue. You need to calibrate the compass correctly.

Yes? Kinda- it follows the phone, it seems like. not sure how it does that, and it's not smooth. I also wouldn't expect it to be very fast.

Glad it was helpful! Wifi video is dependent on a good line of sight connection and not good if there are obstacles in the way.

Yes. It works through the app so there's a VR mode you can enable. Put your phone in a google cardboards style headset
