Taeyeon's voice and singing technique is a real pleasure to hear. Though I like Tiffany's husky/throaty voice in some parts of this song it does sound like she was straining through a large portion of it
Listening in 2018 they sound so young I’m crying 😭 they’ve grown and matured so much and it makes me proud but breaks my heart how quickly the years went by

@winnietehpoohie tbh i think it's because taeyeon's voice is just a notch above most peoples', so it tends to shine more by itself. but when jeti does it, jessica's voice is more controlled and delicate but lacks power behind it that tiffany naturally has; so their duets turn out more balanced, each covering for the other's flaws.

@DnAfanPro I agree. Taeyeon's voice is out of league with the other SNSD members. I'm not saying the other members can't sing, its just that (like you said) her voice is a notch above theirs. After SNSD, Taeyeon might have a future as a solo singer. As for JeTi, they have the ability to be a duo, covering each others' flaws. Sub-units are really popular in groups these days and SM should consider having one in SNSD.

Taeyeon sings so well....she can literally sing any song and still sound good.
Keep in mind that Taeyeon was just sweet 19 years old. She's an amazing vocalist and born for this kind of stuff.
