Hello is there anyone that can help me I’m currently playing on switch and having a hard time unlocking some of the characters that require high points any below would be appreciated
You just gotta do what this guy is doing. Keep a never ending combo going and hit every corner, halfpipe, and wallride to increase your multiplier. Make sure you switch it up as if you do too many grind tricks in a row they will become worth less points unless you throw some air and manual tricks in there occasionally. Also keep doing tricks when you're not hitting corners to increase the base score on top of the multiplier. Just gotta learn the map and figure out a good line that works for you
Some of those characters are crazy hard tho like the 3+ million point post game ones. You have to do them as a single combo. If you ever break your combo you pretty much should just quit and reload to restart the challenge. Good luck hope you unlock the characters
If you’re still having trouble, I recommend using a lot of “boost tricks” (I don’t know if that’s what they’re called, but you need boost to do them so I call them that). Once you’ve gotten plenty of multipliers, one boost trick will be like 100,000k points. To do a boost trick, just press or hold the boost button (for the switch I think it’s ZL) and then press or hold any trick button (X, Y, or A)
Dam I was only 1 million behind you sadly I don't have any recorded footage as it was only the last 30 seconds of my combo as I play on switch 50.154.620 with 1236 tricks in the area where u meet the Frank's for the first time
Valid question! My goal isn't to hit every single possible multiplier, it's to create a fluid route that makes use of every part of the level fluidly and with as little backtracking as possible. 99% of the multis I don't get are intentional omissions. Generally speaking, if I don't get a multi it's because I couldn't find a way to seamlessly incorporate it into the route
