The acacia strain is one of the bands you really have to appreciate are around. Absolute Archaic legends. Please don't ever end.

TAS truly is unique in the scene, Vincent just brings an energy to their lyrics that most bands just cant replicate, its so pissed off and angry.

This will always be one of most memorable shows of my life. Can't say I thought i'd ever see acacia strain with only 200 people in the venue. Corona made it so there had to be 2 sets of this show that night. Fucking insane
And who knows when we'll ever be able to go to venues again...😭

I’ll never understand how Vincent sounds so growl-y live and yet so crisp on record. I want that raw growl sound sometimes on the actual tracks.

I hate how he does fucking intense amazing gutturals live but not on albums, he can do so many hardcore and deathcore vocal styles, yet stick to his mostly monotone lows.
Bitter Pill is my fav song I just wish it was louder for whatever reason that song is mixed quiet asf, yet when they play it live omfg vincent goes so fucking hard with gutturals and shit.
Dude is just an incredible vocalist. Screaming at full intensity for two decades, and recently sounds even better?? That doesn't happen much.
His live technique takes a bit less than the albums, from what it seems like he uses more of a throat based vocal technique rather than a guttural like his studios but I could be and probably am wrong.

I remember when this album dropped out of nowhere, it’s an absolute masterpiece, one of the greatest things I’ve ever heard.

I saw that tour in STL and Vincent had no voice so the vocalist of Impending Doom did some vocals for them but the rest of the show was them putting their mics in the crowd lol was pretty neat.

When did Vincent become so positive? Haven't seen any live Acacia Strain clips in years but I remember how surly he always seemed haha.
I think he had a big mentality change a few years ago. I think it's a great thing as much as the old vincent said some ignorant and funny stuff I think being the super pissed off dude got old after all those years
There was a good 10 minute story time break the last time I saw them. He basically said he was tired of being pissed off all the time and decided to start being positive/seeing the positive in every day Life. He genuinely seems happier!

Remember when TAS shows were packed,I still love them but damn they're popularity went WAY down. btw I've seen em 6 times since 2008 (Continent Tour).
I don't think the venue is less crowded because they aren't popular, I think it had to do with Covid. This was from March of this year.

@@MrMRCTV it's because they had split the show into 2 separate times due to the cv and having to be under 250 people to comply with the state mandate. The bands played twice, once at 2pm and once at 7pm. So they randomly split everyone who bought tickets into 2 groups. Alot of people refunded too because they got split from friends. We were pretty lucky the show happened tbh

They were also supposed to play in LA the day after, but that one got canceled
I've been to a gazillion death metal shows since the 80's but that dude sounds so bad live. I've never seen it so bad . Love their sound though
