They have been encouraging the community to dive deeper and work together to figure the mode out. If anything I'd wager they would support this type of content. The more people that realize that the mode is actually rewarding, the less bitching there will be from the players.
So, if I understood correctly the aims are (in order): 1) At the start: Play games that unlock 3 (or 2) other games around them so you can have a clearer picture of the board. 2) Avoid the 90s games at the start: save them for after you see more of the board. 3) Play 3 90s games in-a-row when you see a warp, to make the warp to be a 1990s one. 4) Before warping: clear out the corners/tier-3 rewards to check if you get a great prize. 5) Warp to 1990s and try to unlock the top prizes as soon as possible, to find a 90s Deluxe pack.
Bro ive seen this video several times and finally today i got the All time Warp. I just kept restarting new bkards until i found atleast 2 of the S tier Warps and it came down too the last 3 spaces and the second last one was the 3rd piece i needed. Did all 3 and went straight through to the all time warp. Man i am so grateful for your help, bro. Without you doing that i reckon it would have taken until season 6 until somebody figured it out and did a video so thank you. Now im not just playing and hoping for goodluck. Not sure if you already covered. If lineup is easy med or hard. Easy lineup match’s yours but little weaker. Medium should be same as you. And hard lineup one card level higher than yours.
this is cool and all, but the average 2k player can't even beat the gatekeepers. Mos, im glad you are having fun, but when i sink about 4-5 hours into a board, only to find out the best thing im going to get is a ruby, but then the gatekeepers wont even let me have that? its not fun.

Yea basically. Same either mode or same difficulty or same era. In my video before this I explained the different portals. If you hear the names it will be easier to know which ones correlate together!

Hello ! Did someone tried to do the same method on the 2nd board and see what happens? Like example if im on a 80's board, beat same 80's celtics 3 times in a row ?
mode matters if you are looking for a mode portal (which you shouldnt be) as long as any 3 things line up like difficulty, era or mode you will see that portal.
Used this method to get a 2010s portal, maxed out the flag bar. The first corner I opened had a PD LBJ and I won’t the gatekeeper game on my third try.
Either or. You could do 3 straight clutch. Or 3 straight triple threat. Then there’s 3 straight current. 3 straight all-time. 3 straight random easy. 3 straight random hard. So it’s like era. Mode. Difficulty. There’s a billion portals. I named them all in my portal video from the day before.
